Having lived in Japan for few years I was very excited when I learned about this store. I was somewhat disappointed when I visited though. I did not expect the level of customer service that you see in Japan but I did at least expect a welocme to the shop, or even the acknowledgement of my or my wife's presence after spending 10 minutes or so browsing. During this time the owner seemed much more focused on selling a knife to the only other two people in the store. Perhaps we did not look like the "kind" of people he considered to be viable patrons. overall they have some nice homewares. The bulk of these being plates, chopstick and knives that you can find in most shops in the Tokyo or Osako resturant...

Not only do they have the finest and most reasonably priced japanese items but they also have an interactive sake tasting bar. How cool is that ????? So they have a bunch of sakes from Japan and the owner can actully prepare a sake tasting while you shop. They also explain the sakes to you and will answer any questions you have .
