If you’re out exploring down town with your husband and infant, don’t bother stopping by here. They “don’t allow anyone under 21 on the premises”. As soon as we walked in, we were told we couldn’t be there and were provided with that explanation. I asked if we could go on the patio then was told that they don’t serve food and only have a liquor license…the place was pretty empty on a Saturday evening. Not sure if this is indicative of their service or beer. Couldn’t tell ya. 🤷🏻♀️
I appreciate the swift reply; however the manner in which I am replied to is uncalled for. We had no problem being told we couldn’t be there, perhaps better staff training on saying “hello” first rather than just being told we are unwelcome would be ideal. We didn’t argue nor were we rude. We complied and a couple even left to tell us how harsh we were treated. We simply felt a lack of welcome which also reflects in your...
Read moreLa Quinta Brewing Co. is an establishment satisfying any and all palates, its is real good haha. We've enjoyed their beers up in/at Big Bear Brewing Company. So good, but my ONLY issue was not being able to bring my dog inside the taproom. It was over 100° and I couldn't bring in my small, we'll behaved, potty trained dog inside?? Why I ask?? Outside was hot and miserable, meanwhile inside it was cool and AC'd. We would have bothered no one, and we would have bought more beers, instead we bought one round, sitting in 100° + weather outside. So I ask La Quinta to change this simple policy in summer weather, or anytime? Especially since it was a taproom , NO FOOD INVOLVED!!!! Thank you, even so, we will be back. Love...
Read moreLa Quinta is a brewery on the northern part of the main strip in Palm Springs right below Johnny Bongos. Since they don't have over 50% of their profits coming from food, they cannot allow kids so it's 21+ only. They have a bunch of seating outside under misters when it's hot plus about a dozen tables inside as well. They have a bunch of beers on tap plus a bunch in cans. Their selection of beers is decent although I'd love to see some more collaborations with other breweries since it's a bit isolated out here. The staff are great here, so nice and friendly. Would definitely come here again, although they do close a bit early considering the night crowds...
