Goodwill Perrysburg Store — Local services in Perrysburg

They recently started putting hard-to-remove stickers on every media item. This is a terrible decision. If you get a pile of media there expect to spend a good chunk of time at home removing them. Even if you douse them in Goo Gone or whatever you won't get clean separation from some material (like paper-based non-glossy older record albums).

Probably 99.5% of their albums are the same price so I don't know why each one needs a sticker. I get using hard-to-remove stickers on unique non-media items to prevent swapping, but using them on albums is just annoying. It can also be difficult to remove them from certain VHS boxes and books and even some DVD cases.

I used to love going to this location, especially since all media is consolidated in The Corner room. Now I'll visit there much less.

I’ve been shopping this location since it opened and have LOVED it. Staff has been great, floor stocked. Recently, prices have gotten so high it’s almost not worth going. And oddly, there’s rarely anything worth buying like there was in the past. The last time I was there, the cashier Mason, was by far the rudest human I have encountered. Ever. Plus, he rang up all of the children’s clothing items I had as adult clothing. Wouldn’t correct it. I almost left it all there but kept my composure and will just continue going to locations like Whitehouse instead. Highly recommend that one. Lower prices, friendly staff, they actually put good stuff on the floor and ring it up for what it is. I got identical tables from each location. One from Perrysburg, one from whitehouse. I went in this morning to look at clothes and household decor. I think I was the only customer in the store and it was about 10:30. The staff immediately made me uncomfortable. Two of them started following me around. I had a cart with nothing in it and was looking at frames and then decor. The two staff members were walking by me every 30 to 40 seconds and saying nothing. When I would pick something up, I'd look over the top of a shelf and one of them would be there. At one point both of them brushed past my cart and got within four inches of me. They did this the entire time I was looking. After about 6 minutes, I was done. I grabbed the shower curtain I found, paid for it and left. I'm not going...
