Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Ohio

Order food at 6:20 for 6:50 pickup. Show up at 654. Wait 5 minutes for someone to come to the window - give them name. Wait 5 more minutes until they come back ask me name and say something is messed up order wise.

Wait 15 more minutes before going inside to complain about the wait, and then an additional 5 minutes before they finally deliver food.

It It was 28 minutes after I arrived and 32 minutes after my "pickup time" before I received my order. I could have went in, ordered and gotten takeout in less time than it took between them saying it was messed up and getting food.

I'm tolerant of a lot of things, but the fact that noone would even come to the window to tell me they hadn't actually started making my food until 10 minutes after I was there is unacceptable. It'll be awhile before I come back if...

On 7/13 I walked in to place a to-go order and was told to wait while the girl checking out was prepping a meal. No problem, but this location appears very short staffed and untrained. I waited while two customers after me received their meals. I felt this was odd because they didn’t preorder and my sandwich was just a large chicken teriyaki with nothing special. After receiving my sub, I believe I am absolutely done with Penn-station. This was an $11.99 sub that is supposedly a “large”. The bread isn’t even fully cooked! There’s still raw dough inside, hardly any filling as you can see, why would anyone think it’s appropriate to sell? Do not recommend.

Many people like their food, but for some reason I always find the subs to be kind of bland on the flavor. I have ate there a handful of times ( mainly because a co worker suggested ) Don't get me wrong the subs aren't bad and I like them well enough! I find the best part ( which is maybe why so many people do like them? ) is the French bread that they use! I myself just wish the subs had more of a lively flavor to them. I've ate the classic steak and cheese philly and the pizza sub. I do add peppers to give the sandwich more of a kick. If they had more topping options then I think that might help in the flavor department ;) as it stands I just find them a middle of the road fast...
