Autopark at Olde City — Local services in Philadelphia

I’m giving 3 stars because I’ve parked here for a while with no issues and my girlfriend has parked here for a few years with no real issues. However, times have changed a bit in the city as many know. There are currently a few homeless drug addicts living in the first level of the garage near the ticketing lobby who urinate and defecate in the same area, and PPA does nothing after multiple notifications. They have “security” that does nothing. They do not do regular patrols. There are basically no cameras in the garage itself so if theft occurs— good luck. My car was recently broken into and security didn’t know what to do and had to call their supervisor who said to go to customer service.. who had already just told me to go to security. They ended up giving me a form to fill out but let’s be real here, that will go nowhere. Filed a police report and got on with it.

TLDR: convenient spot but park at your own risk as break ins are fairly regular and expect zero security and minimal...

Echoing what Kyle Farrell recently said, I have parked at this garage for just over a year now. Nearly every day I’ve experienced homeless people camping out in or around the garage.

My car was very recently broken into, and the office staff there essentially shrugged their shoulders when I filed a report. The PPA spent weeks installing new entry and exit gates, yet can’t be bothered to install security cameras around the premises.

Furthermore, despite being staffed 24/7, the guards have done nothing to deter both the car thefts and the homeless problem. I am only one of several people who have had their vehicle vandalized at this parking garage recently.

For $245 a month and a city-operated organization, I would expect a safer and more pleasant experience. Instead, I’m left filing a police report that will surely go nowhere and scrambling to get my...

I parked at this lot Saturday 9/9/24. I had a voucher from the Ritz theatre and they indicated this lot honored it at $11. I took the voucher and my ticket, used the scanning service and it never worked - tried the voucher first and then the ticket, the ticket then the voucher nothing worked. Finally just put my credit card in there and it wouldn't work. The only way I could get out was to give it my license number. I have no idea what is going to happen now and I still cannot reach anyone. I tried all of the phone numbers and there is no way to reach a live person with the phone number, god forbid if something awful happened there and couldn't get the car out - no way to reach anyone.
