Ethan is wonderful to work with. Full truth, I accidentally went into his store instead of the one I had an appointment with. Ethan didn’t mind and accommodated myself and a friend in looking/researching a mother’s ring for my mom. He was VERY thorough in all the guidelines and information he gave us. We learned so much about what goes into making jewelry. With all the information given, Ethan then encouraged me to shop around and see what other jewelers could offer me.

I took him up on his suggestion and did some looking around to other places, one being the place I actually had the appointment with. Though the other jewelers seemed competent enough, Ethan is much more than that.

My brother suddenly passed away in January, which is why my sister and I were hellbent on getting my mom something sentimental for Mother’s Day this year. Ethan grasped the depth of the ring very quickly and you could tell it wasn’t just another sale for him. My guess is that this wasn’t just because my story was tender but because Ethan has a warmth and awe about him that goes further than most jewelry salesman/makers. I know jewelry is just an inanimate object but it can carry a lot of meaning (engagement/wedding rings, a gift for the birth of your child, mother’s rings, etc. - Ethan makes ALL of these, btw!). It’s very easy to tell that Ethan knows the emotional value of what he is handcrafting and he treats it with TLC.

Not to mention customer care! Even with the pandemic, Ethan PERSONALLY dropped off the mock ring to my doorstep (no contact, of course). Then he was in communication the whole time from start to finish. Upon receiving the actual ring, he was sure to reach out to check-in. This man gets it! Class act for service and, as mentioned above, really cares about you and the product you’re asking for. Additionally, he gave me small business owner advice from one small business to another. Absolutely, rocks at caring for his community!

Long story short- I’ll be coming back to Ethan for many more years for many more special,...

I’ve shopped at M Concept pre-pandemic; I’m a little obsessed with the Dilo sprays they carry, and have picked up some gifts there (candles and philly coloring books for example). They also have clothing and jewelry and art... it’s a lovely curated mix and I always find something. All that being said, I was very thankful that owner Ethan helped me get an order placed during these trying times, so that in a socially distant way, I was able to stoop pick up some pick me ups! Definitely follow them on social media- that is how I saw the most perfect & unique gold filled necklace and messaged the shop. I also asked Ethan if he would pick a new room spray for me, I was super vague but he got it 100% right. I’m so lucky M Concept is in my neighborhood, but would definitely travel for this kind of amazing. Looking forward to browsing...

I was looking for the perfect gift for my bridesmaids. Ethan was so incredibly helpful in thinking of ideas that were thoughtful and customizable. He was patient in my consultation even when I was undecided and provided great advice. I decided to create custom charm necklaces for my bridal party gifts and they were an absolute hit! What was even better is that I was able to make them myself and provide an individual touch with each charm. Working with CharmLab, M Concept's in-store jewelry bar, I had 10 custom necklaces made with a unique pendant and stamped initial for each member of my bridal party.
