Employee just hung up on me after being incredibly rude towards me. Ordered the Mac and cheese through toast tab that was supposed to come with bacon and broccoli for 11.95. When I added it to my cart it added broccoli and bacon for like $2.50 or $2 each. Total was gonna be $16-17. It was obviously a mistake bc I didnāt want EXTRA bacon and broccoli. Just wanted it to be done as it is described on the menu. Got my food, was just plain Mac n cheese no bacon no broccoli. So I called and politely explained. Lady on the phone was very rude, basically told me it was my fault, and for future reference to call them to confirm.. so you want me to order online then call to make sure youāre making the food correctly? I asked if I could get a refund, or at least a partial refund. She said Iām not gonna do that you, I can give you ā5-6 dollar credit for when you come backā. Ok after being spoken to like that and I wasnāt coming back so I said no I donāt want credit for your restaurant. So I said okay but I will need to contact my credit card company because I didnāt get the item I paid for. She just kept yelling at me rudely about the fact that I ordered it wrong. Honestly it wasnāt even a big deal and she could have just apologized and I would have dropped it. But she was so rude I felt so offended. She said āfine if you want to make it a big deal go aheadā then slammed the phone on me LOL. This was a really weird interaction. However for the number of times we ordered,NO ONE ever acknowledged our recurring orders . It was like I was a brand new customer every time. You can't tell me there was no way for them to see our spending history. . Then on Thursday March 28th we ordered pasta that was pretty much a pile of goo. Over cooked over sauce and little to no flavor. So I take a full fork and something feels odd I pulled out a good sized piece of plastic. We called the restaurant and explained the situation. The response was silence for 10 15 seconds. The next comment was what would you like me to do? No "I'm sorry no " how can we make this better?" We told her we wanted a refund. She put us on hold I would guess to speak to the manager? If the manager had time to approve the credit why wouldn't they pick up the phone and talk to us about a piece of plastic in our food and apologize..nope. So they lost a customer. They have wraps & other things but in the two weeks we've only had their pasta's & salads & if you closed your eyes you'd think you were somewhere in Italy eating at a Michelin starred restaurant! I've been to rome, Milan & Tuscany & think this chef is better than the places I dined at! We've not met the owner yet, always a polite young lady upfront, but i'd be willing to bet money that whoever is cooking must have worked at some of the finest restraunts out there. We just finished eating the gnocci lasagna & it was out of this world! Also really enjoyed the arugula salad. This was our 4th trip in two weeks and feel so lucky to live so close to this gem.
