Candle making at State of Being Co. was such a wonderful experience! My friends and I had so much fun choosing and blending scents to create our own candles and room sprays. There were so many beautiful fragrances to pick from.

The space was cozy, clean, and very welcoming. The owner guided us through each step, from selecting and mixing scents to pouring the wax, writing affirmations, and finishing our candles. She made the process easy and enjoyable, and it really brought us closer as friends.

They change their scent options seasonally, so I’ll definitely be back. I absolutely love my candle; the fragrance is rich, long-lasting, and fills the room beautifully. I even used my room spray as a perfume the next day and couldn’t get enough of my signature scent.

Attended a candle-making workshop as a team engagement activity for a corporate retreat for a small team. Had a great experience - it was fun, simple and everyone loved the opportunity to bring home two candles from the trip. The affirmations were a great tie-in to our content for the retreat. The workshop was organized, had great affirmation content, and was a great price for two candles and the activity. Absolutely recommend for a small corporate team, or would love to do this as a fun girl’s night, bachelorette party or birthday activity for a teen or older. I went with my sister. It was kind of impromptu so we called ahead to see if they accepted walk ins. That day they were available so it was great. Brendalynn was the best. (I hope I spelled her name right) Super personable, really connected with guest and the mission/ nature of the organization. She gave a bunch of helpful tips and knowledge. We had great conversations about candles and life. I am glad we decided to go on this day! We made 2 candles with the one purchase. They have to be the same scent mixtures.
