Plays & Players Theatre — Attraction in Philadelphia

I'd like to think I'm pretty flexible with my standards and rarely disappointed in something enough to leave a review.

A group of us had tickets to the Kaidan performance through Bucket Listers this Sunday, with a food/drink/meet the cast special add on.

The performance itself was lovely. Not Broadway, which of course was not my expectation, but still good. The add-on brought a lot of frustration and disappointment.

1. One member of our party was in a ortho boot due to a broken foot. The add-on event was up 3 flights of stairs, with no elevator access and no warning that it was not ADA accessible.

2. Once upstairs, we found 2 platters of sushi. No chopsticks, soy sauce etc. There were waaaay more people than food and many attendees were left without food-- so a $20+ add on gone totally to waste. Really poorly coordinated and handled.

3. this is minor, but the cash bar that purported to have happy hour specials as part of this add on was totally cash only- no card, no Venmo nada. And I was only told this after I was handed my drink.

I might give the theater itself another chance, but am definitely never purchasing anything through bucket...

It's a great neighborhood venue located in the middle of neighboring row homes. I attended the Acute Inflections: Soulful Sounds show. Very intimate and up close experience to the performers which was great. However, I only give it 3 stars because it is very small and to be honest the seating is extremely tight and not accommodating if you're a plus sized person. Also, not to be harsh or wanting this review to be negative but in regards to safety. If there was an emergency such as a fire, I feel it would be extremely dangerous because most people would panic trying to escape. It was hard trying to exit at a leisurely pace once the show was over. It was a bottle...

We attended a performance of Plough and the Stars and I can't say enough or tell enough of my friends how much we enjoyed this performance. The actors really drew you into the drama and their characters. The dialect was a nice addition and I could hear my Grandparents and great Aunts and Uncles in there...i liked very much that they did this performance with the accents. it was a small audience for a Thursday night but the cast played it like they were performing for a packed house full of v.i.p's. it...
