5 Stars for the desserts but the customer service towards black people seems racist - not surprised though. When my sisters and I walked in we weren’t even greeted just stared at until I asked about recommendations. The entire time we looked at the desserts the guy at the register literally stared at us as if we would steal right through the glass 🥴 we should’ve just left at that point but it was my twin & I birthday and we’ve been wanting to try this place. As soon as a few white girls walked in the guy greeted them & immediately offered them assistance and recommendations, his complete vibe changed and became very welcoming. I even gave a $10 tip regardless of the rude and poor service, you would think a “thank you” would’ve been said but nope. I went inside to pick up my sisters cake, and I gave her the name and she asked me if I was here for uber eats, and I specifically told her that I am picking up a cake for my sister and she still asked if I was an Uber eats driver. The oder that my sister left was not in uber eats so I don’t know why she asked. I told her again that the cake is for my sister and she gave me the cake without saying anything. I was very confused and mad at her response and I thought that I was going to need something else but she just left me there. So I walked out. I will not be going here again. I contacted "a la mousse" for a baptism cake, and I must admit that the choice was complicated. We exchanged messages and they told me they could make me a similar one, but not the same. I contacted other places who automatically told me they couldn't, they wouldn't even try, so I decided to go to one of the "a la mousse" places to discuss other options and finally go back to the previous cake because that's what I wanted. We agreed that they would give me one that was similar and gave me a date and time to pick up the cake.
