Great place to live! Lived here 2 yrs just renewed for a 3rd Here’s my take on questions people may have when considering One Water: Noise level: The building is well constructed so I never hear my neighbors and traffic noise is minimized because of the thick windows. My apt faces the highway/city so I do not hear the bands at Morgan’s pier as some residents facing the river experience. I hear it’s only in the summer months when their windows are opened, or if they live on the lower floors. The fire alarm does go off at inconvenient times, in the 2 years I’ve been here I remember 3 times it went off in the middle of the night. It is very loud and very annoying! But when compared to the 600+ nights that it did not go off it’s a slight inconvenience of large apt living. Amenities: The gym is great, the rooftop deck has awesome views, the bldg and the appliances are modern, and OW is very close to Penns Landing/riverfront. One of the best amenities is not really OW’s but it’s the parking lot across the street. It’s cheaper than parking in the bldg and only steps away from the front door. I have not had a problem with my car in the 2 years I’ve parked there. Safety: I am a woman and have never felt unsafe at OW or walking in the neighborhoods around OW. Maintenance: I think maintenance is one of the best parts about living here. I had a problem with my toilet one morning, I made an online request, went to work, and the toilet was fixed when I got home that evening. Pests: I have never seen a mouse, rat, or insect of any kind in the apartment building. The building is kept very clean. Pets: There are tons of dogs in the bldg, which I don’t mind because I love dogs. If you do not like dogs, this is not the bldg for you. Cost: It is expensive to live here but I find it is on par with other luxury apartments in the area. No apartment bldg is perfect and One Water is no different however the pros definitely outweigh...
Read moreIf I could give negative five stars I would. This is legit the worst building in the city. After being a resident for over 3 years, it’s progressively gotten worst and worst. First off, if you have a car… this is not the building for you. There is no street parking and the “onsite” parking has a wait list. And even when you do pay the astronomical amount for the parking spot, you will constantly have random people park in your spot because there is no security or anything to stop people from parking in your spot. The area is not safe, the door person/security/package sorter, can’t handle the safety of anyone. The elevators are constantly down. The intercom system to let guest in… nonexistent. The roof deck, great view, everything is broken. The loading dock, absolutely the most inconvenient dock ever. The bike room… not even sure if people still use it… after it was robbed for every single bike in it… without giving a cent to residents for their failure to secure or monitor it. The large package room… just wait for your important packages to be stolen… The gym, mediocre at best. Oh and if you like being woke up by fire alarms, this is the place for you … not only do they go off all the time, it takes forever for them to turn it off because they have to wait for the fire department to come out to do it. Take a look at all of the other reviews on this place. They are spot on, and I am sure the “positive “ ones are PMC trying to dilute what a garbage place this is. DO NOT, waste your time or money here, you will regret it. The only thing they care about is charging fees, raising prices and anything else they can do to get more money out of you. I’m sure there are plenty of other reasons that you shouldn’t rent here, but these are the main red flags…...
Read moreDO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT MOVE HERE OR EVEN CONSIDER IT!! Was carjacked at gunpoint right in front of the building in broad daylight. My car, wallet and phone were stolen. String of similar incidents happening on the same block or within blocks of the apartment building. Asked management to replace the locks on my door since whoever stole my car has my address/unit number from my license. Currently going on a week without that being done. Most places would have that be a priority since it is a major security issue. Zero cameras/surveillance in the front of the building, which blows my mind considering all of the incidents over the past year. Building has front desk security but not at the front door most times at night when the building requires the most surveillance. Back door of the building, which leads to the parking lot, is often propped open for anyone off the street to enter. Food delivery people often up on the resident's floors, although prohibited. No sign-in/check-in for people walking in the building. All of these issues have been addressed multiple times over the past 1.5 years of me living here but management does not seem to care to correct them. Dont even get me started on the dog piss that frequently sits on the elevator floors or the hallways smelling like the trash during the weekends. For the amount of money these units go for, go find yourself a safe building somewhere else away from the riff that Delaware Ave/Columbus...
