Rolled ice cream appears to be the sweet new trend these days! The first time I had ever tried it was at a shop in the Rittenhouse area that shall remain nameless and while it was good, Frozen was WAY better. When you arrive, you are immediately welcomed by the staff and encouraged to pick a flavor. Their selections are numbered and listed on an overhead board and they also have a menu on the counter with pictures of each selection. I’ll admit, it took me a while to settle on a flavor, but I went with the Cookie on Call (cookies and cream) topped with chocolate chips, Oreos, and whipped cream. It was so rich and creamy that I’m glad to say I found my new favorite sweet spot on South Street! They have a second location in Chinatown as well.

Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5 Drinks- 5/5 Value- 4/5 Stopped by Frozen after dinner for some desert. The rolled ice cream was delicious. That offer lots of options for ice cream flavors. There were 25 options that night. And a slew of over 20 topping options too! Really a “have it your way” type of operation. The ice cream was delicious and not overly hard or frozen like I have had at other establishments. Also ordered a milk tea boba to go. They have a menu of just drink options. And they are priced similar to everybody else if not a little bit cheaper. The store itself was bright and inviting and there were ample tables and chairs so we could sit down and enjoy our desserts.

We showed up here late on Christmas eve looking for something sweet. My first time having rolled ice cream. It was so fascinating to watch the ingredients being diced up and mixed with the cream over the frozen skillet. Spread into a large circle then scraped up in strips it rolled up like cinnamon and placed by a group into a cup. A decent amount of product. You also basically pay for the experience too. On the walls hung cute posters of the different menu items.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! I WENT TO TAKE MY BOYFRIEND FOR A FUN DATE IDEA AND WHEN HE SPECIFICALLY ASKED THE GIRL IF IT WAS SAFE FROM PEANUTS BECAUSE HE IS HIGHLY ALLERGIC SHE SAID YES. WHEN HE TOOK ONE BIT HE FACE WAS COVERED WITH SHOCK. I TOOK THE ICE-CREAM FROM HIM AND AS SOON AS I TOOK A BITE THERE WAS PEANUT. HE ENDED UP CALLING THE AMBULANCE BECAUSE HIS THROAT STARTED TO CLOSE AND HAD TO BE BROUGHT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. BUT THE PART OF THE MATTER THAT IS ABSOLUTELY DISRESPECTFUL IS THAT WHEN WE WENT BACK IN TO TELL THEM HE NEEDED THE AMBULANCE THE GIRL WAS ON HER PHONE COMPLETELY DISENGAGED AND WAS COMPLETELY CARELESS. WHAT AN AWFUL EMPLOYEE AND PERSON THAT WOULD ACT WITH INATTENTIVENESS. Food: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | ...
