Rivera's Market — Local services in Pigeon Forge

A lot of things are great about this place. The food they sell (specifically their pulled pork), the convenient area, etc. But the prices are UNBEARABLE. My family is AFRAID even of coming here! You would have to pay 7 dollars for a bottle of sauce you could get for 3 dollars at WALMART. Seriously, I know it's exotic food, but more and more hispanic people are moving in the area. Technically, those foods are everyday foods by now! And it takes AN ETERNITY to make a money transaction here! About 15 minutes at Walmart, 35-40 MINUTES HERE. The place isn't even that busy! And can you please continue the drive thru? It was really convenient and it was sad to see such a good idea...

They tried to charge 12 dollars for ground beef. Came here on Xmas because they were the only market open. I asked if they had ground beef, and they said they did. I asked for 1 lb, which is what I received. I asked the attendant if the number 12 on the bag was the price. He stated it was with no hesitation. I understand it is Xmas but that is not right to try to overcharge to that extent because you are the only one open. As we looked for a restaurant to eat at on Christmas Day 2020, every place was either overpacked with people or closed. We found this shop that has a meat market. We ended up purchasing a whole chicken with plátanos maduros and we cooked at our condo nearby.
