If I could give zero stars I would. My sister and her wedding party went in to do tastings, as soon as we got out of the car a man was yelling for us to “come on in ladies” and was very pushy that we enter through THAT door. We went in trying not to jump to conclusions but we should have turned around and left. The man doing our tasting referred to himself as “Big sexy” and was making inappropriate and uncomfortable comments while pouring the tasting shots for us. We didn’t want to make a big deal out of this and just wanted to do the tasting and leave. He was then insisting that we go to the next room and do the moonshine tasting and insisting that we HAD to come back over to his side to get a picture with him. He insisted multiple times then proceeded to watch our group while we were browsing to make sure we didn’t leave without getting a picture. We ended up feeling pressured into taking the picture so we agreed to take the picture. This man then told my sister to stand in the middle of the group and place her hands on the bar. My sister does it thinking she is just posing for a photo. NOPE. This complete stranger proceeded to bend over and grab my sister around her thighs and picked her up and placed her on the bar. My sister was visibly uncomfortable and told him “you did not need to do that”. Being that we were with a group of all women we didn’t not feel comfortable speaking out so we quickly left after taking the photo. He said he would upload the photo to the stores Facebook page but we later found the photo on his personal Facebook. (WEIRD)
The whole interaction was very strange and very uncomfortable. I would not recommend any groups of women to visit...
Read moreThe best distillery that we have visited. We went to 4 different local distilleries while we were on our trip. Tennessee shine company was my favorite by far. Their employees were awesome! The tasting bar was fun and relaxed. Oh yeah and it was free! Some distilleries now charge. During the tasting we got to try a good variety. There were a couple that we didn’t get to try that we were interested in. I was honest after the tasting. I told the gentleman I would really like to try the winter cream before buying it. My wife wanted to try the pumpkin. He let us sample both and we bought both! I think this is the best method for sales. We tried some that we wouldn’t have tried if we just picked our samples but it was awesome being able to try the couple that we really were interested in. In the end they got more sales from us with that extra sample. While it is not directly on the strip it is worth driving the half of a mile off of the strip.
To the owner... unfortunately, I can’t remember his name, I wanted to give him a huge shout out to an employee. He is the younger man with a dark colored beard that was serving samples Sunday (6/24/20) afternoon. He made it fun and kept it relaxed. He also sold a few more bottles by allowing us to sample the 2 that we REALLY wanted to try. We will be back on our...
Read moreWe absolutely love this place it was our first time in Tennessee so on my boyfriends birthday 1/8 Michael was the one we met with he was so awesome knowledgeable and personable he told us about blue hudini (panty dropper) his vibe was awesome and we told him we would come back for sure. The next day we came back and Michael was off but that's ok We ended up doing the Vip tasting and we met with Austin who was sweet and nice and we found out he was new. We had our Moonshine/Burbon tasting with Wanda she was great and very easy to talk to I'm glad we met her. We met up back at checkout with Austin and Benny(the manager) he was a delight told us about the place and how they started off with 3 flavors and ended up with 57 which is mind blowing 🤯 We were on the way out when my boyfriend remembered we could try wine for free. THATS where we met Rhonda. She did the wine tasting and boy are we glad everything was really good at the end she gave us a warm drink to try mixed with the two wines and apple cider we were sold lol we ended up buying threw wines as well. All in all a great experience...
