As a customer of over 40 years, and a drummer for over 60 years, I have NEVER had a bad experience with this business. Ocean County Music is an old school brick & mortor, mom & pop store. I appreciate the fact that you can come into this music store and take your time looking at products and the staff will offer you the opportuniy to try the item(s) out right there. Never rude or disrespectful and always providing top shelf advise and suggestions. Their pricing meets or many times exceeds the offers from the "big box" music stores. Mike & Sal know their products. Mike is definately one of the premier drummers in the area and is hands down the best instructor. He clearly had no desire or ability to be a helpful sales person at all. Weak on knowledge but strong on attitude - I walked in with money to spend and walked out empty handed.

Read moreI just recently purchased a Behringer Eurolive F1220D 250W 12" Powered Speaker - Floor Monitor!! NO OTHER MUSIC STORE HAD THIS IN THEIR PHYSICAL INVENTORY!! I live in SW Florida (Naples). It arrived here quickly & the packaging was flawless. My purchase receipt, was tucked nicely inside the box. Unfortunately..... after using this for one practice, the band decided to no longer exist. That said, I shipped this unit back to O.C.M. it was within the 30 return period, on new equipment. I received a notification that they received it & was refunded my FULL PURCHASE PRICE, along with the original shipping charge.
