Boutique Bella Bella — Local services in Port Aransas

The lady I spoke with was very friendly at first, and we had a set time arranged for her to come do a hat bar setup for a bachelorette party where we could build our own hats. Beforehand, she shared a wide variety of options we could choose from, but when she arrived there were barely any available. Most of what she brought were premade display hats, and when we asked about certain ones, she said she was out and would need to check with the owner. I had to follow up myself, and was told they didn’t have them, but that we should come into the store to see other options.

I asked about a discount on the setup fee since we weren’t told ahead of time that the selection would be so limited, but was told no—because we had already been “given discounts.” However, when I checked the pricing on their website, the hats were listed at the same price and then we obviously paid extra for the patches.

The actual setup space under the house was shaded and comfortable, which I had cleared with her in advance, and I even provided water and mimosas to be hospitable. Unfortunately, despite trying to make it a fun experience, the lack of transparency and very limited hat options made the whole thing...

We went in there to look around (the selection was not for me personally) cute stuff regardless with good style. Unfortunately, the employee working that day made sure that we will never return. We personally met the kind owner last time, however this time the employees that were on duty made us extremely uncomfortable by staring/obviously judging us. Look prevention loss is one thing but staring and snickering like school age children is just silly. My mother had to use the restroom, we understand that it was not public after the fact (we didn't see the sign at first) but how the employee treated my mother was beyond unacceptable. Kindly stating "Sorry these aren't public" would've worked just fine but yelling outloudlike a toddler stating "Oh my god who's in the restroom" and then very aggressively pointing to the sign the minute my mother walked out stating "It says right HERE they are not public". Look its a simple interaction from this employee that will ensure we NEVER return as customers nor our friends/family that typically join us.

If I owned this company and wanted to ensure its success I'd cut the cancer out.
