We look forward to going to this Farmers Market due to the excellent variety of veggies and often fruit. Although I must say that I didn't see much fruit there yesterday; however, for that said, there were plenty of vegetables, and most likely, the fruit will be incoming.
Hubby and I like to escape to Port Townsend a couple of times a year; the town is far enough to feel like we've gotten out of our norm but close enough in case a delicate situation happens. I am a caregiver, and I haven't the luxury of being able to go off for more than a few hours, not yet at least. And we love Port Townsend with the beautiful old architecture, a few of the stores, and their farmers market, and right now, it has a lot more to offer than most local ones around me.
Typical items offered are vegetables, fruits, flowers, and handmade items such as a wide variety of baked goods, jewelry, eating ware, holistic items, ciders, wines, art, ceramics, several food vendors, and more!
I have never been to this farmers market and have not seen it extremely busy. As far as parking goes, the market is neighboring neighborhoods. I don't recall ever seeing designated parking areas for this market. If there is, I haven't found it. The two options that I am aware of are parking downtown and walking up to it; it would be several blocks, but on a nice day, it is doable, and the other option is to find parking around the neighborhoods, as many of us do!
If you choose parking around the neighborhood, I urge you to please be considerate of people's lawns, driveways, and personal property but enjoy viewing the incredible old architecture that most of these homes offer.
Right now the farmers market is open on Saturdays only from 9am to 2pm. Their location is at 650 Tyler St, Port Townsend, Washington.

It has a wide variety of vendors: fresh local fruits and vegetables, fish and meats, baked goods, prepared foods, and arts and crafts. There are ready-to-eat food stands (typically such as burgers, sushi, dim sum, Thai food, and more). And there is usually live music and espresso to...

Bustling market with loads of fresh produce. The local artisans offered unique items. Super family friendly. No doggies which is usually for farmers markets.
The drinking vinegars were probably the most intense I've ever tasted. They've got a good kind of wallop to them! We tried the family recipe bratwurst rolled in a German...
