My partner and I drove 1.5 hours and took a 40 minute ferry ride to visit this shop during their posted business hours today (wed-thurs: 12-5) after doing some research on Port Townsend’s thrift shops.
We arrived at 3:30pm and the shop had closed up early. That’s cool, but there was no signage on the door as to why they closed early- nor was there any updates on their Instagram or Facebook page to inform the public they would be closed. Would be much cooler if I lived in the area, but alas, I drove here from Bellingham and rely on established hours and/or social media updates regarding business closure.
Two stars even though we wasted over 4 hours of transportation/gas/time because the shop itself looked so amazing and thoughtfully curated inside....
   Read morePT has a lot of decor shops but this one is unusual. The owner has an amazing eye, and the collection of household items and gorgeous exotic plants is very tastefully curated. Bought a bunch of gifts here last xmas and all were hits. This year I stopped in for a new batch of presents and she put a glass of (very good) wine in my hand within five minutes.
