The Venue At Newport Shores — Local services in Port Washington

We recently (March 2025) had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Venue at Newport Shores. All I can say is that working with Rachel and her team was a fantastic experience.

We met Rachel the Events Manager of the Venue at the Milwaukee Bridal Show in the fall of 2024. We met with her a few days later at the Venue and fell in love with the place. The view, the layout, size and the vibe of the location was exactly what we were looking for. It sits right on Lake Michigan in Downtown Port Washington. We signed a contract and made a deposit.

Fast forward to January 2025, Rachel met us at the Venue to work on the final layout, table requirements and to determine that we would need to set up the night-before. (We had an early morning ceremony and brunch, so we would not have time to set up the day of our event.) We planned to have the ceremony outside on the patio overlooking Lake Michigan and then have our guests move inside for a delicious brunch. When we arrived the evening before our wedding, Rachel and her team had all of the tables set, and the area for food and drinks ready for us. Unfortunately, the Wisconsin weather decided to be uncooperative with a windy, cold and rainy day. We all decided to scratch the outside portion of our ceremony. Rachel and her team helped us come up with Plan B to move the ceremony inside. Rachel and her team re-arranged the tables to make plenty of room for our guest to be inside.

The day of the wedding Rachel and her team were there helping our vendors set up the food and desert areas, and helping us with last minute items that always seem to come up. The wedding ceremony and brunch went off without a hitch.

We and our guests loved the Venue and the professionalism of Rachel and her team. I cannot express how thankful we are that we chose the Venue at Newport Shores to host our wedding celebration! I highly recommend The Venue at Newport Shores for...
