Aaron's Rent To Own — Local services in Portland

Avoid this establishment at all costs otherwise it may cost you later. I called in December to reserve a used dresser and night stand set. They delivered filthy furniture to my apartment. There is so much hair and garbage so I refused to touch it. You can tell a lot about a company by how they treat their customers and according to my experience and the reviews I've read it's obvious this store and their service are trash. It took over two months for anyone to respond to my requests to speak to management and have these disgusting items removed from my home. They ignored me until I decided to no longer pay for furniture I was not able to use. Then they began harassing me by repeatedly calling everyone I've listed and me personally 44 times from 5 different numbers in the month of March alone. Blaine Peterson, the management I've been in contact with thinks I should be satisfied that they eventually replaced my furniture with new items (although it took 2 1/2 months to get in contact with him). They expect people to be satisfied with their terrible service and unprofessional demeanor. I've contacted other Aaron's locations in the area who said they hear awful things about this particular Aaron's all the time and are happy to take any of their customers (even the Portland locations). This place is more trouble than they are worth. It's now 3 months later and my issues are still unresolved. My next step is filing a formal complaint if no reasonable solution is...

Worst service EVER! Most the staff at this particular Aaron's are rude and unprofessional. I've been a customer of Aarons for quite a few years and NEVER had a bad experience until I moved and switched from the Cascade Park location to this 4th Plain location. I wouldn't recommend using this store. If you want to rent Furniture go to the Cascade Park or Hazel Dell (Highway 99) stores. They have horrible customer service and they are VERY flakey. It took them about a month to deliver our furniture. They kept calling and saying something was going on with the truck and they couldn't make it. On two separate occasions they no show no called on us. I was beyond upset. I decided to not stay with them and go back to the Cascade Park store. They will bumbar you with calls if you are a day late on making your payment. It's insane. I've never had such poor customer service and I really hope you don't have to go through this with them. What a bunch of unprofessional clowns, I would highly highly recommend staying far FAR away from this place! I have been relentlessly harassed and threatened by employees of this store weeks before my payments was due EVERY SINGLE MONTH! The store manager TIffany called 2 hours after my wife made a payment stating we owed a payment, even after being told we had a confirmation number that she had given my wife she insisted we still owed a payment. She was certain we had not made a payment because, wait for it... SHE WRITES THE CREDIT CARD NUMBERS DOWN ON STICKY NOTES and shreds them as she processes the payments. She told me she did not remember shredding a sticky note for us. Shockingly the next day we had a double charge, I had to call everyday for a WEEK EVERYDAY to get my money back.
