Loved this local gift and souvenir store the moment I walked into it. Their sweatshirts and hats are unique and captured the colorful essence of Portland ME for the rest of my trip. I regretted not bringing a sweatshirt home with me once I got home, mostly due to my lack of luggage space. I scoured their website and IG for the exact sweatshirt I had seen in store and when I didn't find it online, I reached out via phone. Their inventory manager Jordan was so helpful and pleasant over the phone. She went above and beyond and located the exact size/make of the sweatshirt I saw briefly in store and arranged for it to be mailed to me! I truly appreciate the extra effort from Jordan in helping me have the ultimate souvenir from my trip to Portland. I was so excited that I forgot to ask for a tracking number, and when I reached out some days later, her coworkers were able to route me to Jordan and provide the tracking info to me via email! Again, great customer service unlike I've ever received before. The sweatshirt was definitely worth all of it. It has "Portland Maine" in sturdy appliqué lettering and side paneling that seems pretty unique to the CoolasaMoose brand. Also, an embroidered pine tree on the sleeve and a subtle state of Maine on their sewn in tag. Happy to support a locally owned business with such friendly vibes. I love there apparel and design and make sure I renew regularly. The thing I found very annoying was the 2 women locked themselves in and put a paper sign on the window saying they were on lunch and rhe store was closed. This happened on Tuesday. I arrived at approximately 2:30 pm and saw the sign, looked in and they were standing inside. Looked at me with no problem even though the store is supposed to be open. My meter was running out and this was the last thing we were picking up. At 2:57 I called, to my surprise they answered. I asked them when they would open. They talked together and said less than 10 minutes. I finally was in just after 3 several people also tried and left during this time. A small store, covid going on, business struggling.
