I had scheduled my first appointment with the crows nest last week, and they called me 10 minutes before my appointment to cancel it for personal reasons. They asked if later on that day would work, and I said I would try my best to make that happen. Unfortunately, I was caught up at work and wasnât able to come back in later that day.
When I showed up today for my appointment, I was told that I owed $20 for my âmissed appointmentâ last week, even though it was them that canceled on me. I explained what happened, and was told by Wiechman that he wasnât willing to do anything about it.
I thought maybe there was some miscommunication going on, so I tried to explain my perspective better. I explained how I thought it wasnât fair to be charged $20 for an appointment that was cancelled on me, when I said I would try to make a later time that day. I didnât want them to miss out on a client because of scheduling.
I didnât even get to the haircut since I wasnât willing to...
Read moreKettric is hands down the best barber Iâve ever been to. Iâve been a loyal client since he started as an apprentice during COVID, and his attention to detail has kept me coming back ever since. He doesnât just give a haircutâhe tailors it exactly to what works for me and even helped me grow out my beard the right way.
What really sets Kettric apart is the experience. Now that weâre both dads, sitting in his chair feels less like an appointment and more like catching up with a buddy. Iâve even started bringing my 2-year-old son, Van, and itâs been awesome watching him interact with Kettric and get that real barber shop experience. He makes kids feel comfortable, and itâs something I know Van will remember as he grows up.
If youâre looking for a barber whoâs skilled, easy to talk to, and great with both adults and kids, Kettric is your guy. Donât wait to bookâyou...
Read moreI needed a haircut badly, tried another shop who had a sign stating "call for an appointment" in the window, then gave the Crow's Nest a try. I was lucky. They were open and not busy so I got right in. It's a clean shop on the second floor. The sign is fairly high up the side of the building and the text on the door is dark so it's easy to walk by.
They run it like a traditional barber shop without a lot of gimmicks. The barber who cut my hair, Kettric, was pleasant, asked questions about how he should cut the hair, and most importantly listened to the answers. He didn't rush and I was happy with the cut when I headed out.
I'll be going back the next time I need a cut but with the holidays coming up I won't count on walking in. They have an online reservation system and I would recommend using it to avoid the frustration of not being lucky enough to work...
