I was in today after the mandatory indoor face mask law went into effect and just the tellers were wearing masks. When I brought this up to the teller manager she claimed they were practicing "social distancing." The law in Oregon is face masks are required indoors, you need to follow the law.
Also if you have any worries or preexisting conditions do not go into the private rooms lining the main teller area. People are sitting in these rooms with no mask on then inviting people in to help them. They are wearing a mask when they come out to help but that doesn't fix the fact that all the air and surfaces in that tiny box could be contaminated.
I'm ashamed that the bank that I've been with for many years can't follow simple rules and is willing to put peoples lives at risk. Wear a mask!
Just wanted to update with the response I received from Tory at OnPoint and Advantis when it comes to mask policy:
Tory at OnPoint
Bo, thanks for the phone conversation today and the emails. As you requested, here is the guidance we are following as directed by the Governorâs office. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for caring. Together we will help stop the spread.
Advantis
Thank you for your email and inquiry on Advantisâs mask policy. We are required to wear masks at all times in all of our locations and back offices. Our branches do also have a limitation as to how many people we serve inside at a time. Advantis does offer a lot of remote services as well to our members to avoid entering a branch if they do not want to. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
I'll be moving to...

My first application was denied for not having enough employment history. I was completely upfront about it and my credit score (which is 690 btw). They also made me open a saving account to put in the application. Just all around sketchy behavior. Tim was unclear, resistant, and clearly not there to help me. Tim was unable to tell me about rates, things that would disqualify me, things would qualify me. Just all around.... like one of those customer service experiences where your not sure if tou are being unclear or if they just really want you to go away. A disorienting and disappointing experience that left me crying after I left. This institution doesn't seem to actually be for...

Rita is in her 80s and I'm in my 70s and we are not that computer literate about online banking. We were so lucky that Kevin helped us get her set up completely going the extra mile to make sure that she could handle it at home. I think Kevin deserves a gold star for being so patient with...
