Portland Expo — Local services in Portland

What a simple and pleasant place to watch the Maine Celtics. Most seats have backs and are very comfortable. The sight lines are excellent. The ventilation and heating (even on a bitter cold day) was excellent. Restrooms were surprisingly large, modern, and clean. Very family friendly and relaxed.

Easy in and out, just a ten minute trip from downtown with Uber.

The concession stand is a mess… waaay too busy (they need at least a second one) and a second stand to sell team gear would be great.

I’m looking forward to catching another G-League game...

Recently, my family and I went to an event here. We were all walking to the bleachers. My 3 year old daughter, of course, was in the lead being the adventurous one. She grabs the seat to pull down to sit, and THE WHOLE ROW COMES CRASHING DOWN PINING HER BETWEEN THE 2 ROWS! It was a scary sight for 15 seconds. Can we not double-check that the sections of seats are NOT locked in before an event/set up? Fantastic boxing event from Portland Boxing Club. Well managed. Clean bathrooms. I'm glad that the "Bleacher style" seating had reasonably comfortable individual seats, but the seats seem to have been attached to some sort of shared rail that rocked the entire row anytime someone in the row adjusted their seat/sat down/stood up, etc. It felt a lot like being on an inconsistent swing. Overall, it is a great venue with a great view of any event...
