I do like the store Ross very much. I don't have one in my hometown so when I visit here I always make sure to stop by. Like any store of this type, sometimes they have a lot of men's clothes for me to choose from. Other times things have been picked over. That's understandable. Overall, I usually find something that I like a lot there and I buy it. I love good bargains. Recently my very elderly mother wanted to buy a nice dress and she wanted to check out Ross for this. I took her there and she found a dress or two that she liked and she wanted to try them on. The only fitting rooms available at that time, were small fitting rooms at the front of the store. She was in there by herself trying to get a dress on but I could tell from what she was saying she was having difficulties. I went to one of the cashiers and I said, do you have a female employee who could help my elderly mother in the fitting room? She said yes and right away she called for someone to come help her. A nice young woman came and she knocked on my mom's fitting room and then she then went in to help her with the dress. As I said, the fitting rooms in the front of the store are very small, especially for two people. It was quite a challenge for those them in that small space as that nice lady was trying to help my mom to get in and out of that dress. After that employee came out of the fitting room, I thanked her very much for her kindness and time to help my elderly mother. She said she was very happy to help. I knew she was being sincere about that, not just saying something out of obligation. This is exceptionally good service. Thank you to that employee and the other employees there who are very helpful, not just during this visit but during other visits also. By the way, I sensed that maybe that employee was a manager and she did tell me yes she is a manager.Ross is lucky to have great managers such as her.
I know that at that Ross store and other ones it is A common thing to close the big main fitting room sometimes. However, it can be very hard for many customers to try to change in those tiny rooms at the front of the store. Thankfully my mother is not a big woman or that would have been impossible. That's my only suggestion for Ross, if possible, keep those regular size fitting rooms at the back of the store open as much as possible. I understand that things are done certain ways due to the number of employees that you have on during a shift.
I do wish Ross was in my town...
Read moreIâve been into several Rosses, all with variances in the quality of customer service, as well as the tidiness of the stores. This one ranks as one of the better stores, in my opinion. The staff has always been friendly when I ask them for assistance, and they do a good job of keeping the floor clear and shoppable for customers.
Some sections can get a little chaotic, but that is something I have noticed to be consistent across Ross stores in general. Like other stores of this nature, they get frequent shipments of an assortment of items. You may find this a full-size run of an item or only a partial size run, which is typical of this type of store.
The stores typically donât have too much say in the items they get, so you may or may not see the same thing come through more than once. A lot of the items they receive are overstock from certain manufacturers or items that have some âflawâ or âdefectâ in the making of the item (this is usually seen with clothing).
Iâve been shopping at Ross for years and appreciate the variety of items and great prices. Just go in knowing that what you find in one Ross, you may not find in another, and what you see there once, you may...
Read moreMy family and I have been going to this Ross since they opened. All of the staff are always nice and more than helpful!!! The store is always clean with a nice selection. Tonight I went in with my family to shop around, Britt was our cashier and was so so sweet!! She was helpful and personable. She even took her time to talk with us. Great customer service skills!! Adam was also going above and beyond. He mentioned that there was a family who had carts full of merchandise and they told an employee they had to step out for a minute, to leave their stuff because they would be back for it. Well communication got lost somewhere and the stuff got put back. So Adam wanted to make it right and went around the store helping them find the items and started ringing up and bagging their stuff before they were done shopping. That way it would be ready on their way out!!! I was amazed that this kind man cared so much and was willing to help and make it right!!! The Ross employees go above and beyond and that is amazing to me!!! We had an awesome experience tonight (per usual). Thank you to all the Ross employees!!! Your kind acts and sweet gestures do not go unnoticed!!! We...
