This is in regards to a very recent experience. The service at zara seemed to have always been quite good but a recent incident has greatly decreased my faith in the company's online services. Do not trust in their online return system. Will decrease the amount that i will be shoppign with them.
A item within a return package was rejected due to some kind of worn condition and I was not notified (i return the item with full tag and never worn it except for a try on, i won't rule out some kind of oversight that might ahve caused this). I had to message them more then 4 times to get the issue some progress. Each time the agents were extremely robotic and provided no proactive solutions. I gave up on arguing with them about the items condition and just asks for a confirmation of the item being returned to me.
I never received notice regarding the reject and they never reached out about the returning of the item is what really upsetted me. I am quite certain that if I didnt persist my contacts of the customer service, the item would have just been confiscated and the amount of money still deducted. Read moreCame here with my sister to look at some jeans because they are better fitting to her body (shes tall but has a slim waist). She’s also 16 and likes to pay for her own things so she’s always on a budget. We picked three pairs out for her and I found a fitting one for myself. When we went to pay, she tried using her afterpay and the cashier told us it wasnt accepted. She then asked about Klarna which he made a snark remark and told us to find out ourselves. (There wasn’t anyone in line) After she couldn't find the store on klarna, I offered to pay for her instead, and while I was pulling out my card, I told the gentleman he didn’t have to bag my jeans as I had other shopping bags I could use to put them in to which he replied “ Well i’m not chasing after you if you try to run “… I replied with a stoic face and he just proceeded to say “ you need to pay for it first “… Like yes buddy, my card is out and i’m CLEARLY going to pay for it if i’m standing at the register. The condescending remarks and unnecessary comments were absolutely not needed and this unfortunately isnt my first time being disrespected in this store… Would be nice if your employees knew basic...

This Christmas I ordered an item as a gift but my daughter received two of them so I tried to initiate a return for the one I bought. I tried multiple times through the original order email; there is no link to start a return. I checked the process several times and followed the link back to my order but could never find a link to return the item. Finally I called customer service and was told that I was 5 days past the window for returns. First of all, I am actually 4 days past the 30 window which would have been January 3rd, but what other company holds such rigid and small return times over the holidays?! The customer service representative denied my return request. I am NEVER shopping at Zara again. Their merchandise is decent but not good enough to deal with their website or return policy again....too many other wonderful stores to buy from...
