Providence Kongdog — Restaurant in Providence

Decided to try this place. There was only 3 people working and there was about 20 people in front of me. I was in line for 45 minutes and then the cashier tells us there is no more dough left for the corn dogs. People were really upset! I decided to order some Kong fries and vegetable dumplings. The fries were pretty good even though it didn’t taste hot or spicy mayo flavor. The dumplings were like a vegetable purée filling. It wasn’t like fresh vegetables in the dumplings. The service was incredibly slow. They should have had 5-6 people working instead only 3 for everything. Then I’m sitting in the food court and I see the guy bringing in some more boxes of dough which they said they didn’t have any more. Took 1 1/2 hours to place and receive my order. This is no way to start a business! They gave me a free $2.99 lemonade because they ran out of dough.

Went back the next day and got 2 Kong Dogs. This time there was still only three people working but there was only one person in front of me. Had the spaghetti and Cheeto dogs with cheese filling. They were delicious. It took 20 minutes to get my order of 2 dogs, fries and lemonade. This place scammed me out of $12 for a corn dog. I was in Kong dong Providence place and I was waiting for my original dog and my flaming hot Cheetos corn dog and I handed the guy my card and he was like oh you know wait OK, so yeah sorry so I handed him my card and I swiped and then I am going in my pocket and I’m about to get the cash and he’s like oh you’re doing half-and-half and I’m like yeah and he’s like oh you should’ve told me that now I have now your card is getting charged and you’ll get it back in a few days. I’m like what do you mean? I’ll get it back in a few days. What do you mean and he prints out the receipt it to me and I’m like oh wait so I actually was excited cause I’m still getting my food no I didn’t get my food at all. Food gone money gone no freaking anything. I’m never ever seen that $12 again and I hope every customer knows that this place is a scam and that worker that little Afro headed worker he’s a scammer too. I don’t appreciate him and I wanna know his name and I wanna talk to him. I want to talk to his manager very soon and I will be...

I feel that the regular fries were over priced at $3.99 and I did not even get a decent serving for that price! I had the classic corn dog but felt that the hotdog wasn’t cooked or not cooked well enough. The outside of the corn dog had a nice golden brown color and that at least tasted good but the actual hotdog was a light pink color and did not taste well. But the hotdog my friend ordered was a more darker shade. Needless to say I did not finish the hotdog and felt the entire meal was a waste of my money. At least there wasn’t a long line like there usually is and that’s how I finally got a chance to try them. The staff doesn’t seem friendly at all and one of them was even on her cell phone while getting drinks ready. No sense of urgency at all.
