I will admit that I did not get the chance to talk to the staff, nor am I familiar with the things they offer (I saw another reviewer say that they support local authors, always a plus!) I also like that they’re an independent book store. However…it’s really, really small. I went in to browse and there were people standing in front of entire book displays, just chatting. I couldn’t even look at half the inventory. I didn’t see as much variety as I’d like, which might be because they’re a new business here. I saw a lot of anime and lgbtqia stuff, which is fine but kind of niche for such a small store. I was looking forward to finding my daughter a book for her upcoming birthday, but the few kids books I saw were not intriguing enough for me to buy. There is a tiny area for kids, which has a tent full of pillows and a few books in it. I don’t know how much I like the idea of my kids laying on pillows where tons of people put their heads.
