If you can pick anywhere else to go, skip Carrington and go there. Not only are the program fees much higher than other comparable colleges, the communication I've had from this place has been abysmal at best. I use my student loan overages for living expenses, same as a lot of other students. Well, they're still behind on giving me 2 reimbursements. I've emailed my financial aid officer, Ana, and she says it's the billing department's fault. I ask for the number to the billing department and she never responds. So, I go over Ana's head and wouldn't you know it, I also don't get a response from the head of financial aid, Patricia. I'm owed $2,200 and no one can answer where that money is at. Funnily enough, I just emailed Ana again 10 days ago and you guessed it, no response. You're just dollar signs to this place, nothing more.
You WILL be left to figure things out on your own, you WON'T be supported, and you WILL be left to chase down your money while getting ZERO responses from the school. Save yourself the headache and the time, and pick literally ANY OTHER SCHOOL than Carrington. Your mental health...
Read moreIt’s a good place when you have certain classes. Being in my 4th semester I hope anyone that gets A&P 1&2 really understands that the teacher is bad and we all know who it is even with plenty of complaints there has been no change to her curriculum that helps student pass effectively. So be prepared to repeat A&P a few times. Also if you are even a bit off the dress code or forget an article of clothing or wear a sweater over your scrub top be prepared to have Mary follow you around and argue with you constantly without any communication. I’ve had this experience, my friends have had this experience and other students as well. A warning would be sufficient enough but she goes above her station to follow you around campus. This school is very strict despite other schools and even actual hospitals having more compassion than some of...
Read moreExtremely disappointing admissions experience. Over the course of just three months, I was assigned three different admissions representatives, each one seemingly more uninformed than the last. The constant turnover and lack of communication made the entire process incredibly frustrating and disorganized. It left me seriously questioning what the overall student experience would be like if they can’t even manage the first step properly.
Ultimately, I chose to enroll at TMCC instead.
It’s worth noting that this school appears to have more applicants than it can handle, which may explain the lack of care or attention shown during the application and enrollment process. Unfortunately, that attitude comes through...
