This is an outstanding store for finding toys for kids of all ages and abilities, engaging books, and sensory integrative products to promote learning. Perhaps because I’m a retired occupational therapist, I was especially impressed by the variety of items for sensory integration. Pediatric OTs and special ed teachers, in particular, would love this store, which has something for everyone. If I was a kid, this would be one of my favorite stores because I love to learn while having fun. A bonus is complimentary gift wrapping. Each of my purchases were beautifully wrapped. Free of charge! Can’t beat that. It’s located in The Landing in Renton. The staff are helpful and friendly. Teachers get a discount. I highly recommend Learning Express.

The owner of this store is rude, impatient and inconsiderate. What kind of company hires someone like that to represent them? When I went in there today with my hot and beautiful wife, he was staring me down for some reason I think because I am epic and cool. Anyways, I dont like his painting on the wall it looks kinda strange I can feel the eyes watching me wherever I go in the store. I feel a bad aura. Negative energy. It's like Mercury is in Retrograde permanently in that store. also the toys are expensive and u can buy them cheaper somewhere else! Sorry the photo of the painting is a bit poor. Could be from the negative aura it was giving off. Update: it's not harassing if it's true! šŸ˜‚

It's a nice store with a variety of popular items, like calico critters, Lego, slime, squishmallows, slime etc. They also have a large supply of pop its and fidget spinners. Itsnwell laid out and not too overwhelming. The only issue like many others have is the prices. You can easily get the same items from other stores or online for a much cheaper price and even from stores literally nearby.

Update #2: Leaving the owner's original reply here in case it gets deleted or edited:

"This lady sucked.

#1. I regret giving you the coupon to get rid of you.

#2. Read all the 5 star reviews and get lost.

#3. Don’t come back."

That catalog didn't have any coupons so that's not how I got the discount, you can check with the cashier who processed my purchase for details.

Also you don't have to worry about me coming back because I don't enjoy being treated disrespectfully for no reason.

Update #1: Would give zero stars if I could.

I admit it was nice finding exactly what I wanted and I was happy with my actual purchase.

However I don't think the owner is fit for a customer service role at all. When I asked him genuine questions about loyalty programs or toy catalogs he was very passive aggressive and dismissive-I asked how I can sign up for a catalog and he just tossed one over rudely lol. I knew he was an unpleasant person based on other customer's reviews I've seen online but it really is something else to actually experience that.

It's disappointing to see how unprofessional he's being to other customers as well, and it's extremely concerning that me and many others have been profiled (there's a pattern of discriminating POC) for simply doing what we would do in any other store without receiving the same...

UPDATE: The store’s response below clearly shows that customer service does not exist there. According to them, you ā€œlive in a fairytale worldā€ if you expect to be notified when the product you thought you pre-ordered arrives. As if they even care about what you ordered. Putting customers’ orders on post-its? Jeez!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: If I could give them zero stars I would! I sent them a message via Facebook to ask to put things on hold (from a pre-order) and was told that they’ll write it down on a post-it note. Apparently that means nothing because not only did I not hear back from the store three weeks later when the product came in stock, I messaged them and was told that they only said they would write it down on a post-it note. No apologies was given for not keeping me updated about my hold or for not being able to fulfill my order. They did offer to sell me the item in a size that I didn’t request for but they also told me that if I didn’t like it, I could go open my own store and sell the product myself. What kind of customer service is...

I found this store by recommendation of some friends and I am so floored by how responsive, accommodating and attentive the staff here are. They answer questions so quickly and thoroughly and have been really helpful to me as someone who travels a good bit to visit the store to ensure what I'm looking for is on hand. The staff are fun, personable, and really knowledgeable on all of their product. The store itself is super clean. Very easy to browse and walk through, and currently super easy to social distance from other shoppers in the store while still browsing the section you need. It has a very warm neighborhood toy store feeling and I cannot recommend this enough if you have a kiddo at home, or if you're just nurturing an inner child during these uncertain times. Definitely make a stop by if you're ever...
