24 Hour Fitness — Local services in Rialto

At round 2:00pm January 18th my partner and I were at the 24 hour fitness in Rialto on Renaissance Pkwy for our daily gym routine. We were approached by the gym manager with blonde hair about a complaint a customer had about us taking photos of our selves in the gym during our workout, stating the Patreon felt uncomfortable. I offered to show the GM my camera roll on my phone as proof that we only took photos of our selfs. However the GM quickly denied my ask to show proof and continued to proceed to tell us we cannot take photos or videos (which we did not take) inside the gym. The gym photo policy states “Taking photos or filming of others is not permitted without their prior knowledge and consent, and under no circumstances is any photography or filming permitted within the Kids’ Club, locker room, steam room, or sauna areas.” The policy is understandable however my partner and I were in the general open area of the gym and ONLY took photos of each other with no one in the background. The GM told us we cannot take photos or videos at all inside the gym. I felt like this statement is extremely hypocritical due to the fact that we daily see people taking selfies in the gym open area and gym locker room, along with tripodes recording people doing their workouts ect. I feel like the GM did an inadequate job at addressing the situation by taking the complaint strictly at face value and did not want to hear what we had to say or show. Once the GM left the other gym members that overheard the conversation were also stunned, confused and angered by what the GM had said because it made no sense whatsoever so single my partner and I saying we cannot take a photo or video of our self in gym gym at all. The surrounding gym members were so outraged they told us we should file a complaint, thus here we are. I’m saddened to see the gym we attended the most and never had a problem with before act so egregious. The GM took one side and ran with it without listening and attempting to hear our perspective or even acknowledge what we had to show her to prove we weren’t taking photos or videos other...

I give this location a 1 just because the gyms equipment is great condition, HOWEVER beware of your surroundings.

According to staff: Lockers are commonly Broken into more than your typical gym. Thief stole our personal belongings and proceeded stealing our vehicle from parking lot. Luckily we have a tracking device in our car. Needless to say Police came; according to staff…thief had targeted nearby 24 hr gyms all a matter of hours. gym manager’s didn’t communicate any incidents to each other for safety precautions. This happened on a Tuesday, so it wasn’t caused by a weekend frenzy

Recommend going to workout with a gym buddy, as there’s inappropriate behavior. Complained to the manager about inappropriate behavior in the sauna. No longer a member. Too many suspicious behaviors from early morning to late night hours with lack of attention.

The time that our lockers were broken into, front desk camera recorded “gym Member” bypassing the check in while staff being present, a huge safety hazard.

Highly recommend 24hr’s to adjust cameras for safety even in parking lot. Perpetrators were vaguely seen and not caught on camera. Parking lot is being shared with movie theater so it does get busy in front of the main entrance. Recommend the west side of the buildings parking area.

Understaffed location, recommend to hire and train accordingly.

4/13/25: this has not been resolved even after reaching the corporate directly. Mind you at the time this gym location had less Google reviews at the time posted and now is over 400 reviews diluting the horror, enabling bad behaviors, lack of professionalism this location has. This location needs to be investigated...

UPDATE: he was fired but STILL hangs around the gym and even hangs out BEHIND THE FRONT DESK with his friend. I was highly uncomfortable seeing him and knowing he still had access to my info even after being FIRED FOR CREEPING ON FEMALE MEMBERS… I reported him and the friend and honestly if they don't ban him I will talk to my attorneys.

Had to report staff member DAVID. (White guy with glasses that works overnight, can usually be seen all over the gym chatting and pretending to work out)

I unfortunately had a prior experience with this employee a couple of months ago where he waited for my partner to leave the gym, and then made several inappropriate advances at me, asking multiple times if I could “do stuff on the side” with him.

Well fast forward to a couple days ago, he ended waiting for my partner to leave once again and started making more unwanted advances towards me while insulting my partner and commenting on our bodies and individual gym progress. When i rejected him for the 10th time he stated that I "needed a reality check" and wouldn't leave me alone until I reported him.

So far management has been cooperative with me in terms of forwarding this case to higher ups. I haven't received an update in like 5 days though and im getting impatient.

I still see him working which bothers me because I have learned from another employee that he has access to all of my member information including my phone number and address.

Will update my review based on how this goes. Everyone watch out for this shady guy. Keep in mind that your personal member info will be available to this dude everytime you check...
