About 1 1/2 years ago we had our home rebuilt after a fire. We hired a contractor to handle the rebuild. They had us contact Rugworks of Rohnert Park to pick out new flooring that was going to be installed. We meet with Rugworks at their Rohnert Park location to pick it out. At the time we didn't think anything about it when Rugworks had the flooring picked out already and showed it to us when we arrived. We figured he was giving us a great flooring option as we were replacing hardwood flooring throughout the house. Now looking back I believe the contractor and Rugworks made a back door deal where Rugworks tells us it's a great choice when really it was a cheap choice costing the contractor less to increase their profits. After it was installed we did a walk through with the contractor and we noticed when we walked on the floor it made a sound like it was not sticking and was coming up. The contractor told us they would have Rugworks come back and roll the floor to get it to stick. We were told they completed that and it was ok to move back into the house. That was back in September of 2022 when we moved back into the house. February 2024 I contacted the contractor because the floor was pealing up in a few places. The contractor told me I needed to contact Hernan at Rugworks for information on the flooring and warranty. I reached out to Hernan and set up a time and date for Rugworks to come out and look at the floor and to fine out what they could do to fix it. Rugworks came out and looked at the floor they were there for only about 5 minutes. When he was leaving he said he would get back to me on what they could do. After 2 days I received a call from Rugworks saying they would repair the floor but I would have to pay for the repairs because the damage was caused from high traffic. The damage they saw was in the dinning room under the dinning room/kitchen table so not a heavy traffic area. They refused to do any repairs or warranty their work unless I paid them. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they replied to my complaint with lies and the BBB closed my complaint. I guess my next step is Small Claims Court where they have been take before for similar claims and lost. BUYER BEWARE OF COMPANIES...
Read moreI wish I could say great; however I’ve experienced better. To begin with we were given a schedule date for the rug to be installed. We were called 4 days prior to our original schedule date stating that they would be there the following day. Which was four days prior to the date we were given. After much discussion, and several phone calls back and forth from this company, we were able to go back to the original date they gave us for installation. (Not without undue stress and made to feel that the error was on our part. ) On the day of the installation, two gentlemen in a white unmarked van arrived. When asked for a business card or reference or some kind of identification with this company, they had none available. The two gentlemen worked until around noon, and took off for an hour and a half for lunch. Of which only one gentleman returned and worked until the job was completed The second gentleman returned around 1/2 hour to completion of the job to help the first gentleman finish up the job. We were told that job would take around four or five hours. The Job took between 9 and 10 hours to complete. We had an additional piece of carpet made special for a room which needed to be cut and bound. It was not ready on the day of installation. We were called a week and a half or so later saying that the special carpet could be picked up. We were not offered delivery nor placement of the carpet. When we picked up the carpet, we inquired about delivery. We were told you should’ve requested at the time...
Read moreTwo of Rugworks employees Jeff and Wes are completely out of line and unprofessional is an understatement. My landlord hired Rugworks to repair a bathroom floor. They removed the toilet and sat it on top of a hardwood floor with a plastic bag under it. As you can guess, the water leaked out from the plastic bag onto the floors, damaging them. After they were called by the landlady they came to my business. After being told the work couldn't be done today, Rugworks still sent out Wes to do work. We had to call the police after he tried to barge into my business in Cotati after being told he did not have authorization to do work in the bathroom today. He swore and yelled and wouldn't leave on his own until the police came. What kind of company has people like this representing them? I'm shoked and would never recommend...
