Brought my laptop here for a repair to the power button. A few weeks after they returned it, the laptop just stopped turning on, with no light even coming on when it was plugged into the charger. I brought it back and they kept my laptop over the weekend, returning it afterwards saying they didn't do anything, they just tried plugging it in and it miraculously turned on. But since they didn't even bother to look into what they could have damaged the first time, now a month down the line the same issue happened again with it simply not turning on or displaying a charge light. I bring it back and they tell me in a rude tone that since it has been so long since the initial visit, they would have to charge me for a diagnostic. And I should try just taking out the battery, which is impossible on this model of laptop. Thanks for messing my laptop up and not taking responsibility for it. So for all you future people in need of computer repairs, I advise to look into the costs at more reputable places. I think something about this place is untrustworthy, and I kinda think they sabatoge tech in order for customers to keep coming back. Your money and your products are safer some place else. There are even other reviews farther down mentioning that peoples tech had new or more problems after taking it here so I'm not the only one.
Sure, it could have been something else entirely. I just doubt it. It had never had problems until taking it here for the original simple fix. So despite coming back two months after the original visit, I expect establishments that deal with high value and high necessity items to have some wiggle room when the problem only started occuring after taking it there. The time I spoke with who I am assuming was the owner based off the reply, was the only time the workers here were compassionate and polite. The first time I spoke with the other workers left me uneasy, and the last time left me confused and frustrated. If the workers had the decency that last visit to explain any of what the owner just explained in the reply then maybe I would take back my review. The workers I spoke too didn't even seem to register what I said, he shrugged me off and literally slurred out a response about removing my laptops battery when that isn't even possible with the type of laptop it is. If you're gonna claim to be a business that respects it's customers then at least hold the rest of your employees to your own standard. The owner may mean well as you can tell he truly cares since he looked into the situation, but I stand by what I said...his company...
Read moreSuch a delayed review on my end, but a testament to the cohesiveness of how DK Systems operate. I purchased a pretty high end desktop in March-ish of 2022 from here. Custom built, not entirely top shelf but close to it, pain in the butt to build type deal, the whole nine yards... Corby and his guys handled it, laid out timing, pricing, and expectations upfront. The computer is doing fantastic with no hiccups, I attribute that to the attention and care the team put into building the machine in the store. That is exactly what happened to the previous machine I purchased from here pre-2010. Speaking of, that computer lasted 10 years. Fancy that.
Small in size yet a local Rohnert park business that puts competitors to shame. The knowledge of the industry from the staff, the honesty and friendly attitude of a local company, and the passion behind their work. DK Systems is a place to be amongst hometown professionals.
If you're someone who is needing advice on their next device purchase, inquiring for computers to run the latest games for your kids, or just need a team you can trust to possess the knowledge to address the digital issue you're experiencing -- Give DK Systems a call.
Highly recommended for anyone from minimal knowledge of computers to professionals. If I could give them 10 stars, I would in less than a heartbeats time.
DK systems doesn't provide just what you want, they provide what you need from...
