Believe the bad reviews people. Called ahead of time to ask if the store buys sealed pokemon product. The gentleman on the phone and I spoke about market values and what I’d expect to receive. I thanked the gentlemen and told him I’d head over to the shop. I arrive to the store at 5pm (I live an hour away) and there was only one individual(store closes at 7pm). The gentlemen asked me what I needed and I told him I had spoken over the phone about selling some pokemon product. The guy tells me that unfortunately “everyone” who deals with pokemon went home already and that he couldn’t help me out. I told him politely it would’ve been good to know about that because I commuted an hour and called in advance to get a deal done. All the guy said was that’s unfortunate and have a good day. No attempt to help, no communication between employees and very lazy. Been here before, not coming back. Believe...
Read moreFantastic store with pretty great staff. They make an effort to engage each customer that comes in, and buy a significantly wider variety of cards for higher prices than any other magic card shop in Sonoma county.
Their single selection only has competition at Outer planes, but they have a better, more consistent standard selection and regularly have all the original dual lands in stock in store.
They buy and sell baseball cards still, but few people are interested in them any more, so sports memorabilia and cards, while available for purchase, is not super valuable for them to purchase and collect.
While not the only place to play magic the gathering in the area, (outer planes, fundemonium and Griffin's nest are your other options), they are friendly and your best bet for draft or standard every Friday night. They also have Wednesday night modern, and try hard to run legacy...
Read moreHave been here a couple of times, and overall just lots of empty promises and price gouging.
Asked for info on how to get cards from certain games and was told they would add me to a list to get informed. Never happened. Which is ok but unsure why it was offered.
Applied for a pre-release tournament for a popular game and found out it’s about double the price of any other shop around. And they do this because it’s popular and those who don’t mind will pay. Overall not bad people just unethical business practices that don’t really care for the customer too much.
Not many places to get access to certain popular card games and the few ones that can, do this. 2/5
People are friendly enough but If you want to overpay much over MSRP for product then this is the...
