Incident occurred on 11/7/2024 @ 10:25am at the New Rosedale Dicks Sporting Goods in Minnesota, MN
Greetings! The brand new store looks great and products are amazing, except the staff working there specially Cassie (Supervisor/Manager).
It was a fine morning, besides the rain, We decided to check out the store and do a return, buy something as well.
So we made a purchase a month ago and decided to return that and purchase something something else instead, We were helped by a Clerk named Tiffany at checkout and i guess she made an error before, retuning our item we initially purchased using a gift card and she returned it to a store credit, so we came back to correct them and it was beyond her limit to change the store credit to a gift card and she requested for Supervisor/Manager, So Cassie came with an attitude, the reason why is that is her body language when she walked to help, I don't know whether she was having a bad day or whatever the reason behind it, I'd care less about it, all i was expecting was a great experience of the store and a great customer service. Well that never came.
So Cassie did made the correction and transferred the store credit to a gift card, Thank you for that, but what caught my attention was the ATTITUDE after that, so she threw the Gift card to us as if we were some beggar asking for a spare change, Initially i thought to let it go and just don't make a fuss about it but then on my second thought i felt like she was being racist or she may have a problem with people of color, so then i was like F it, i want others to hear about it before going in the store for any purchases/return.
In the future i will try not to go that store for any business and stay away from it.

Read moreI usually love shopping at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and I always come prepared to spend because I know the quality of the brands they carry is worth it. My experiences have always been great—until today.
While shopping, I asked an employee where the dressing rooms were. He told me I could walk right in, try on whatever I needed, and even mentioned that the doors locked from the inside. About 10 minutes later, I was shocked when a police officer started banging on the door, demanding that I step out immediately. It was terrifying, especially since I was in the middle of changing.
Once I got dressed and opened the door, the officer accused me of having too many items and implied I might be stealing. This came as a complete surprise because no employees were monitoring or counting my items when I entered. I had maybe six items total and was trying on different sizes, which is normal for a dressing room. Despite this, the officer questioned me aggressively and stood in the doorway, making it difficult for me to close the door.
This experience was humiliating and upsetting. While I appreciated that someone apologized at checkout, the entire situation left me extremely disappointed. I almost walked out without making a purchase, but I still ended up spending $300.

Read moreI purchased a pair of futsal shoes from Dick's Sporting Goods about a week ago. After wearing them once, I realized they didn’t fit properly and tried to return them. The store initially told me to call customer service, saying they would be able to process the return and that all I needed was a return label. However, when I contacted customer service, they told me I couldn’t return the shoes because they weren’t purchased online and directed me back to the physical store.
When I returned to the store, they finally said they could accept the return but at a reduced price because the shoes had been worn once and weren’t in resellable condition. They offered me about $40 for a shoe I paid nearly $100 for, which felt unfair.
I’ve bought shoes here before without issues, but this experience was frustrating. Their return policy is unclear, and the back-and-forth between the store and customer service made the process unnecessarily complicated. I’ve lost trust in Dick’s Sporting Goods and won’t be purchasing shoes or sporting goods from them...
