I have been going to the Succasunna location for years now. My husband and I recently moved to the area so we are now frequent shoppers here. We always have a great experience and usually find what we need. That has now changed. We came about a week ago and two employees were so into talking gossip with each other that when we said “excuse me” as a means to get their attention for a question we had, they actually moved over thinking they were in our way in the aisle just so they can chat some more. Now we came back today and tried using kohl’s cash that was in my email yet not showing up on my account. Instead of trying to help, the older female cashier at the first register (wish I got her name) had the audacity to insinuate that I was lying and made up the fact I had kohl’s cash in the first place and tried explaining how kohl’s cash works to me as if I was a child and never heard the term before. And when I explained to her the situation she had told me it doesn’t make sense, once again hinting she believed I was lying. Lastly, while I was scrolling through my email to find the said kohl’s cash, she made a very dramatic comment saying “take your time because I’m here all night and we close at 9pm. Im here every Sunday night all night” as if she was complaining about it. Needless to say we didn’t end up buying anything tonight. Treat your customers with respect and don’t be rude. Train your employees to help the customers in this situation or any other and never allow them to blame customers for things they cannot figure out. Do your job of customer service that you signed up to do and earn...
Read moreGuys, go figure, this joint's not for us; here you will be amazed at your lady's mathematical prowess as she fingers the price labels slashed to a shadow of their imagined glory, takes another in-store 20% off, less the 15% special vip-offer they sent her in the mail, less 5% for using her Kohl's card . . . Take away the number she first thought of and leave flushed at the steal she just imagined for the $165-worth of material she is lugging home for the fashion show you'll be expected to attend and applaud as each piece is cross-matched with each other--relax, applaude and beam where you can, raise a silent brow of concern where you might, and never mention the 3- letter f-word, there shall be no teasing or joking at these desperate sports . . . And remember, for each eyebrow you raise you will have one more return item for the exhausted lady at the Returns counter the...
Read moreIf I can give Gary Gleshner 0 stars I would. He is extremely rude and unprofessional. I called the store to ask if a certain item was available for pick up. I couldn't not even ask. First call he said "Kohl's pls hold" waited 12 mins. I hung up called again, "kohl's pls hold" waited 7mins. 3rd, 4th, 5th, 5th call immediately put on hold. Finally picked up with an attitude, as if I was interrupting his lunch. At this point, I said you can't help me. I will be filing a complaint on your terrible, unprofessional customer service. So he's says I'm one of the managers. So I hung up in disbelief. And big box stores wonder why we support moma pop shops and online like Amazon so we don't have to interact with people like Gary Glesher. I will be contacting Corprate....
