Maria's Paella — Local services in Sacramento

Not the usual spot for restaurant, but Id been driving by it on 16th & loved sign! Went for lunch on a Tuesday— sadly not a paella day, but we tried 4 types of empanadas. The fillings were generous & flavorful— particularly the chicken mole ( tho a bit of extra mole sauce on side as a salsa would be lovely. The chicken was plain, but salsa spiced it up. My husband was critical of empanada dough-/ not flakey enough for him I hope theyre able to get space next door for indoor dining.
