A small group of us stayed here for a weekend event. I knew the outside appearance of this motel wasn’t going to be the greatest. The lobby was nice, remodeled looking, and front desk employee was nice. Now, where to start!!! - I think I’ll start with the departure first to ensure you will read through this entire review.
1.) As we were leaving that evening from a group members room, there were a couple cockroaches crawling on the outside wall. This sealed the deal and lead me to writing a review.
2.) They charge your card at check in, so if you want to use a different source of payment, do it at check in. “SURPRISE”.
3.) The next day of our stay my daughter woke up with a horrible headache. When we returned from an after breakfast, we realized our room had a strange mildew type smell. Before I said anything to the front desk, I did have other people smell our room to ensure it wasn’t us. I called down to the front desk to please check into, however she asked me questions about what I thought it was, what did it smell like, etc… She asked me to turn off the AC for a while, air out the room and see if the smell goes away. Seriously? I said no, I’m heading out and I’d like them to come check into it. I asked for a new room and she said they were sold out. Upon return a few hours later, the maids did come into our room, took all our towels, leaving none behind. They did nothing else to our room and the odor was only getting worse. Now I’m pissed. I head to the front desk to not only complain about no towels, but now to say something about the worsening odor. The lady at the front desk acted as if she had no clue. The manager was there said they take the towels, wash them, then put new ones in the room. So instead of taking care of one room at a time, they scatter themselves through-out the complex. The manager was nice, and switched me to a different room. I was grateful for that. So, we move. There were stains on the mini couch in this room. They had the pillow cushions turned over to hide it. We put a towel on the couch before sitting on it.
4.) There was only one ice machine to the complex and it was non-stop beeping. The only way to get it to stop was to unplug it, then nobody would be able to get ice. Finally, by midnight or so, they unplugged it.
The location was covenant to our destination points. My daughter and I had a king size bed which was comfortable. The sheets had a random stain, but I knew the bedding was clean. The room itself was nice and clean. Having a microwave and fridge was a nice feature...

Cons
Room’s AC unit should come with instructions or needs to be replaced. The AC on "high cool" (highest-powered engine) actually produces a humid, stuffy air. The AC on "low cool" (lowest-powered engine) actually produces the coldest air. It took a few hours changing the settings to know that "low cool" was the best option.
Every fresh towel (hand towel, face towel, bath towel) had someone else's human hair on it. Probably the hotel's washing machine and/or dryer are not effective with removing hairs. Even if these hairs are "clean" because they went into the washer/dryer with the towels, hotel staff should inspect them for hair prior before placing them into the rooms. It was very disconcerting to be drying myself out of the shower, then to see and feel a clump of differently-colored hair stuck onto my body.
Exterior of the hotel should be updated. The elevator was dated. Walkways and stairways had old liquid stains or gum.
Miscellaneous
It was horrible. Since we got there all we had was attitude from the clerk, who couldn't find our reservation. Everything was a mess. Our key didn't work. So it was praying it would work every time we needed to get in our room. or ask our neighbors to call the front desk to get someone to help us. and it was always a small boy (wonder if he works there). Not to mention that they had to change our room 3 times.. the first time the room was ok, until we turn the air conditioner on.. the hole room stared smelling like pee. Two hours later we were FINALLY in a cleaner room. NOT.. As soon as we were in bed my husband woke with some rash do to bug bed.. We had to throw away our PJ's just in case.. SOO just when you think nothing can get worse.. When we ask to move to a different room or get our money back.. They say they couldn't do anything else other than to change the sheets do to all others room being use.. or under reservation.. And they couldn't give our money back cause they don't do refunds.. After getting the hell out of there.. we found out they charge us for 3 night. that was what we reserve at the beginning. Funny how at first they couldn't find our reservation but at the time to charge they did.. and how we never even stay one full night.. And got charge 3 night something that it was out of theirs hands and couldn't resolve.. no matter how many call and visit we may.. it never got resolve.. So try to stay away they...
