Shoppers Market — Local services in Sacramento

I love this place. They do offer basic corner store amenities. They don't have any fresh veggies, but what do you expect? It is a quality corner store with great dudes running it. But it is false to say they are open until midnight. If you need something, get there by eleven, otherwise, they might not be open. They close "early" very often. Basically, they close at 11 p.m. unless they are busy, otherwise they will stay open until 12. But they should advertise themselves as closing at 11, as they often do. That is the only reason I'm giving four stars...

Great selection, even though prices are a bit high (as expected when there aren't full grocery stores nearby). Some fresh items like onions ($0.99/each) and potatoes. A box of spaghetti is $3+. The milk could be colder. Good beer & wine selection. Prosecco for an impromptu celebration $9. Counter service...

This is a great l'il corner market for the neighborhood. The people who run it are friendly, funny and respectful towards their customers. They have the usual stuff plus alcohol. They seem to have a lot of regulars, and when you go in, you'll see why. I buy my weekly lottery...
