It was great experience until you had my deposit. It was a horrible experience after that. I was lied to on numerous occasions. Not to mention I requested several services months before the wedding and then 10 days prior I was told "sometimes the system doesn't save" none of my notes from the previous meeting had been saved and the vendors were not booked. Absolutely ridiculous and an insane amount of stress to place on someone before their wedding. I've yet to be refund for the items I was overcharged on. I paid for food for 69 yet was only given food for 55 and not refunded for that because "it was already ordered" so where was it then?! I literally paid for it. The florist is a joke all together they were rude and unwilling to help and did not give me all the items I paid for. It was great experience until you had my deposit. Insanely expensive for hors d'oeuvres to run out within 5 minutes of cocktail hour starting. I did not like the bartender soliciting people for money and tips and not telling them what we had already paid for and my guests were upset when I had told them it was an open bar but they had to pay bc the bartender was unclear. Also I paid for the venue until 10 there is no reason my tables should be cleared half hour prior and my guests forced out. Additionally the bartender is clearly inexperienced and does not know how to make cocktails plus she kept taking peoples drinks the second they walked away from their table even if they were full and had just bought them. That is...
Read moreWhen you can find the employees they are very helpful and nice. My child and I picked this location because it was close to the convention center and when we picked it we asked if they could hold our bags the last day while we had things to do at the convention center and didn't wanna carry our big bag all around with us (big deal when we were deciding hotels). They said they would. They even held them when we got in early, too! The first morning, I woke up and showered and then found out we had no towels in our room. That was miserable. We had to be at the convention at 8, and no one is there till I think 830, so no towels for us that day. Stepped out of our room and closed the door, then realized I had forgotten the key cards in the room. Once again, I had to be at the convention 30 before anyone got there, so I looked up on Google their hours, and it said open till 12 am. So I thought as long as I got back before midnight, I should be fine. I arrived back at 10:10ish pm no one there. I called 2 different numbers they had on their door and got nothing, finally someone let us in and told us to call the number on the sign by the desk that told me to call a different number and that one said text (they finally messaged back 950am the next day) after about a hour and a half I tired to remember the combo and what lock box they said I was in and 30 min of that I tried another number on the door which got me to someone finally and they helped me get me into the lockbox for my key card. Finally, in my room at midnight. Got to sleep in the next day and called down and got towels then. And when we were about to check out we asked again about holding our bags and they said yea but they are leaving at 230 which would have been like 2 or 3 hours and we didn't wanna chance not getting our bag back so we had to take it with us. I'm guessing this was just a string of bad luck for us, but it made my trip a nightmare. Definitely will check into a bigger hotel next time. They should send the lock box info in an email because 98% carry their...
Read moreI just "checked in" by retrieving my key from a lock box with the name of my suite. No one in the Front Desk, lights out, bars on window. No signs or directions. Walked 3 floors with 3 flights of stairs because the elevator didn't work looking for my room with my luggage. Sweating and starting to feel vulnerable in an empty hotel traveling alone, I went back to the Front desk and called the hotel number for assistance. Indian gentleman answered and said he was standing at the front desk and questioned if I was ok. He stated he was so confused that he couldn't see me while I could hear his TV in in the background. I told him I was by the Front Desk and dining room. He said not possible, as I describe it to him; he couldn't see me he repeats over and over and that maybe I was not making sense. He kept asking me my room number, I told him I did not have a room # but a suite name, Crocker suite. He says there is no room by that name. Then tells me he doesn't have any crackers to give me. At this point I feel like it's a Saturday Night live and he is mocking me. Using my English and his accent to twist my words to make a ridiculous exchange, yet he is not struggling to communicate with me at all. So I told him I was standing by room 103 and to come and find me since I couldn't find his "Front desk". He tells me the man staying in room 103 is a professor from Santa Clarita and that it is not my room, breaking any privacy rules hospitality might have. I literally end up knocking on another guests room in 102 for help. He said no one was at the desk when he checked in either, while the front desk attendant is on speaker telling me to call 911 for someone to find me since I am lost in the hotel. Me and the other guest are telling him that's ridiculous. Unable to find my room I put key in drop box and left. As I am leaving another female guest has returned from climbing all the flights of stairs searching for her room 209, which she couldn't find and said she at least has friends in town...
