It all started on Sunday, November 8th. I went in to have some labels printed, but forgot my label papers at home. I talked with the woman working the print and marketing section and she recommended I buy some labels there. So, I did. I got white Avery labels and I took them to her. I had to send an email of the document I wanted printed. After waiting several several minutes, she said she had received the email and could print my labels. I had multiple sheets printed and they turned out great! I recently went back on Monday, December 14th to get more labels printed. I brought in the label paper I had bought on Nov. 8th. I sent the email with the documents I needed printed and then waited an HOUR. I waited an hour for them to receive the email. Who knows if it actually took that long because she wasn't checking! I went and asked if she had received it yet and she had to go check... A person who is good at their job and cares about the customer, would be periodically checking..especially since I was there the whole time waiting for it. And then she comes and gets my label papers and proceeds to tell me she can't print on them. I said, "you printed on them last time" and she said, "well whoever did that for you really shouldn't have." And I said, "it was you!" And then all she could say was sorry and that her printer would melt if she did it.
I just had a really bad experience because I wasted an hour there just to be told she wouldn't print them..when just over a month ago, she printed them just fine and even helped me choose the label paper! So, basically the print and marketing service doesn't have knowledgeable employees or good customer service. The lady I worked with is tall, thin, and has brown hair that is normally pulled back. It looks curly but I can't tell for sure. Don't have her help you! I will NEVER be going back to Staples and now I have a whole case of label paper...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe customer service at this store is greatly lacking. I asked for several items and was sent off in different directions and still couldn't find what I needed. They didn't have the file folders I needed nor did they really know what I was talking about. They also didn't have the printer I wanted to purchase. The associate looked online and said it was discontinued and the one that would replace it was not out yet. That's it! Instead of recommending another printer. Yesterday I ordered a set of 25 holiday cards. It said if you order by 2:00 pm they would be ready the same day. I ordered them around 3:00 pm and the email sent to me said they should be ready about 10:00 am today. I just called at noon and they are not ready. I asked for an estimated time they would be done and they could not give me one. NO ONE at that store is apologetic or seems to care about the customer. We just opened a new business here and will need lots of office supplies. I may just order them online elsewhere just so I don't have to deal with the incompetence and lackadaisical attitude of them. Unfortunately it is the only office supply store here and Wal-Mart or Target are very limited on what they stock. I hope someone in power reads this and considers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went there for two copies to be made. Waited in line, then when it was my turn the cashier with long red hair and glasses pointed to the self service copy machines. I said āOkay, but Iām not really sure how to use theseā. She said āItās pretty self-explanatoryā, and went on to do something else. Sure, the part where you pay for the copies at the start is very self-explanatory, it gives you perfect instructions on how to pay for the product of course. But no where posted are instructions on how to load the machine or what settings to use for your desired outcome. I wasted my money that I earned working at my own job on copies that werenāt correct, because the girl at the register decided she didnāt want to do her job. I know copy machines are āsimpleā, but people who go to staples to get copies made OBVIOUSLY donāt have a copy machine at home, therefore likely donāt know how to use them, let alone an industrial size one like the ones at staples. It would be nice if when a customer asked for help using a machine after waiting in line for service, was given 2 simple instructions on how to get the correct product they desire. Itās extremely basic customer service. It would have taken her less...
