Edit 8/24/21 We won’t be coming back. The pizza was ok. They gave us thick instead of thin, which was edible but not what we wanted. A few other issues that would be passable considering the place turned hands and we want to give them a chance. But the unforgivable situation was the bartender who coughed, hacked and sneezed the whole time! And he NEVER washed his hands!!! He kept pouring himself beers and eating. I get it, but if you are sick, stay home. And if you are eating wash your hands. So gross! He kept walking to the corner to cough and hack, the 3 of us could not get out fast enough. God I hope he has allergies. What a bummer, this used to be our go to spot. Not anymore:(We miss the delicious thin crust and our bartender Doug. Time to find a new local spot.
This place is beyond awesome! We are so happy to find a spot with GREAT food, well thought out tap list, friendly staff, friendly patrons and comfortable vibes. This is our new go to spot and everything we have been looking for. The food is some of the best we have had in the area, totally fresh! A few things on the food and beer menu were not up to date but that’s a minor complaint. We can’t wait to...
Read moreFour of us stopped in recently. Loved the cozy locally owned establishment. There is a comfortable bar (offering a huge selection of craft beers and wine-based cocktails), and both inside and outside seating. The owners are from Ohio and were sporting their red Ohio State shirts. Nice touch to get conversations going.
We ordered two slices of pizza. One with pepperoni and sausage; the second had mushrooms, sausage, and olives. Both were delightful, especially as the dough is hand-made daily for all of their food.
We then ordered 10 wings, half with hot buffalo and half with lemon parmesan. The Buffalo cauliflower was very tasty-the breaded florets are tossed in buffalo sauce and served with a choice of blue cheese or ranch.
Additionally, the menu includes a wide range of finger food, salads, stromboli, flatbreads, gyros, meatball, chicken and Italian sandwiches, pasta dishes, fish 'n chips, shrimp baskets, etc.
Brunch is available on Sunday, offering the full menu in addition to a daily special. Mimosas, sangria, and Bloody Mary's are available too.
Looking forward to...
Read moreWe recently checked out the local bar Category 36, and I must say, it lived up to the Google reviews. With 36 beers on tap, the variety is impressive. Whether you're an IPA enthusiast or prefer something different, they have you covered. For those with a sweet tooth, the ciders on tap are a must-try. We had a lot of fun with our beer flights, sampling a variety of beers, with many of them from Florida's own local breweries. The standout was the Keel Farms watermelon cider—it's like a Jolly Rancher in liquid form! We had to order a full size after finishing the flights.
The food selection is also of a good variety. We tried the buffalo shrimp, chicken Parmesan sandwich (which was enormous!), and wings. While the food was decent, we have our eyes on the pretzels for our next visit—they looked absolutely delicious.
Overall, Category 36 offers a fun, casual vibe with its wide array of beers and fun food options. We are looking forward to visiting this local...
