Tiki Bagel — Restaurant in Saint Pete Beach

This place was adorable! The bagels are shipped in from Brooklyn, NY and the owner clearly takes pride in her work. All the shmears were unique, the sandwich names and decor were perfectly on-theme, and it was very clean.

The only negative I have is the price. For two bagel sandwiches, we spent over $25. It was a little better because they had a Black Friday deal going on where we also received a coffee with each sandwich, but on a regular day I would have had a hard time accepting that price. I understand the importance of an authentic NY bagel for a lot of people, but I don't think I would say it's worth it at that price point.

The owner and all staff were incredibly friendly and clearly seeking honest and genuine feedback. I heard her discussing the amount of shmear with other customers, talking about trying to find the right balance to make the most customers happy. She also righted an order error by offering an entirely free sandwich, and spent quite a bit of time with her tables to ensure everyone was pleased. When one party left, I heard her excitedly tell her employees, "Did you hear what they said? They noticed how clean it is! See? People DO notice!"

Since this is clearly a newer business, I genuinely wish the best for it and hope they become a St. Pete institution.

Tiki Bagel rocks!!! I was sooo excited for this place to open, and once it did I went there while my parents and sister were in town. The food is ABSolutely delicious, (loved the cinnamon roll, and pumpernickel bagel with cream cheese and honey). The cute touch of plating the bagels with a tropical flower didn't go unnoticed, and you better believe I put that flower in my hair and it made me smile. All of our food was out of this world 12/10 amazing, but just when you think it can't get any better, IT DID! Because the customer service and atmosphere is also out of this world! We were greeted by Jack H with a bright cheerful "Aloha" and that set the tone for the beachy vacation vibe of the restaurant. The cute beach decorations, and inspiring color scheme make this place an incredible place to go to start off your day on a positive note! Our food came out in a very timely manner, and the GM even came to chat with us once we got it and made us feel like VIPs. They truly care about their customers and go out of their way to make sure your experience is very special! Keep being amazing, you guys...
