I highly recommend this place to fellow dog parents in DTSP. The new groomer Jax did a fantastic job with my pup Luna. I also had the chance to meet the franchise owner and he’s wonderful. And… both Luna and I LOVE Erin! She is truly amazing and a very talented receptionist who makes us all welcomed and taking care of. The location is very convenient for us and we are making use of their membership plan so Luna can be spoiled (and clean) every other week. This used to be an amazing place—until there was a staff change. What was once a smooth experience has now turned into a pushy upsell every visit, often adding $50 or more. Despite repeatedly asking them not to cut my dog’s hair, they continue to do so—and even nicked both sides of his nose on the last visit. The staff talk down to you and invent problems, like claiming that my breed-specific long-haired dog is having circulation issues and needs to be shaved. It’s disappointing. I finally had the opportunity to set an appointment and have my baby Sophi get a nail trim and a wash. Her nails look great, and she has not itched in a few hours, yeah! She has been itching for a couple of days. I highly recommend trying out splash and Dash. Only reason they do not get a 5 star, is because they do not take Apple Pay. As someone who lives DT and walks everywhere, having Apple Pay is a MUST! Even all Marketplace Vendors take it. I was really surprised that they did not, and I am glad I happen to have my CC with me.
