I moved to FLW 1 year ago and was told by the builder of my home to visit Pauls furniture store. I cant stand pesky sales people as they make my nerves shrill.. I went into Pauls and the fella said "can i help you find anything?" i said "nope" he said "ok if you change your mind ill be over there (pointed to the front desk)".. i said "ok".
I wound up buying a washer, dryer, couch, love seat, recliner, coffee table, 2 end tables, kitchen table, custom queen size bed frame, 2 night stands, 1 tall dresser and 1 dresser with a mirror.. the salesperson that was there helped me carry night stands and coffee tables and end tables from all over the store to set them by the items I was interested in. I was there for a good while re arranging everything.
When it came time for shipping the fellas that came to my house were very nice, laid back. however the recliner didnt quite match and i was told no problem. one of the night stands had a small scratch and i was told no problem.
the next day a new recliner (completely different from the 1st one) came and matched perfectly. 3 days later a new night stand came and it was perfect. I didnt have to pay a service fee, a put your bed together fee, a delivery fee.. i tried to give the fellas $20 for lunch and they refused to take it.
I work at a local real estate company and I mention Pauls everytime the words "were going to need a new couch" or "we need more furniture to fill up this space" are mentioned by my buyers.
Im now in need of bunk beds and plan to...
Read moreSince I have been stationed here, I have been using Paul's Furniture as my go to place for my Synchrony home store card just making purchases here and there so they wont close my account. Last week I went in to buy a washer from Paul's its was $889 so I checked Google since they price match to see if it was cheaper around my local area and it was. It was $612, since they said they price matched I asked if they could price match it. They said they could, but it had to be apple for apples meaning it had to be the same delivery and price so I went to Lowes and Lowes matched their delivery and beat there price because it was cheaper, but I was unaware that you could use your Synchrony account at Lowes, so I went back to Pauls and told them that it was 'apple for apples' as they put it, and they still would not honor the price match so I called Lowes and discovered something new, that they do accept the Synchrony home store card, and I wound up getting from Lowes cheaper with free delivery, because I live on post (within 50 miles). Thanks Paul, for what I was going to pay here, I ended up getting a leaf blower, Dewalt drill and a washer from Lowes, and it was still cheaper than what I would have paid at Paul's through the same finance company. Now that's some good customer service that's why I give...
Read moreI looked forward to working with this company and had cash to spend. I came in January originally and worked with a wonderful woman who informed me that the prices were negotiable and they would work with me since I’m paying cash. I went today to get my furniture and the woman there was an older woman who seemed nice enough. I found the items I wanted and approached her to say I was ready to spend thousands but wanted to work with some of the prices. She looked irritated and told me they don’t negotiate on prices. I stated last time I was here they said they do and she said “oh, I mean prior to Covid…” to which I said it was last month. She then changed again to “well on the specific items you want we don’t negotiate” and at this point I was out. I told her the washer and dryer are hundreds less at Menards and I was looking forward to working with them to which she just kinda shrugged. She clearly didn’t want my business so I just said I’ll go elsewhere. I walked out having wasted hours in total. Honestly, they might be good for financing but if you’re paying cash just...
