We have used Angie to buy two homes and also sell one, and she is the best of the best! She was born and bred in Utah real estate and is a true expert in all areas of the process.
She helped us buy our starter home, a fixer-upper, and never was deterred by our first-home budget or criteria. We loved her almost sixth-sense about homes - she can literally walk into a home and smell mold without even seeing it.
Our recent experience with her was fixing up our house, selling, and then trying to buy during the middle of a pandemic and historically low inventory - but with Angie we felt supremely confident that we could get the best return on selling our home and would make the best decision for purchasing even with so many pressures. Her knowledge of the process is expansive and she makes sure to be fair and honest. She showed us homes all over the valley and never pushed us into something we didn't like but also did not let us settle. Angie works so hard to make sure her clients get the very best deals, is quick and responsive, always positive and bubbly. She is a true negotiator and never lets the smallest opportunity go by.
We've had interactions with other realtors who can get flustered or rude under pressure, but Angie somehow balances graciousness and respect with toughness and we are always honored to be a part of her kind and considerate team. We know she will fight for us and be kind at the same time. We have recommended her to multiple friends who have used her for home buying and been equally impressed by her skill and grace. We hold Angie in the very highest regard and she sets the bar for what a...
Read moreAngie really went above and beyond the call helping us sell our beloved home in Salt Lake City.
Angie appreciated what was unique about our house, understood in ways we didn’t—what it needed and what it didn’t. She is one of those rare realtors who not only knows the names of plants and trees but knows how important they are to a house’s grace and charm, and in her description of the house is able to deftly describe a certain tree in a certain place, the land, the trees, the flowers. And one who is confident enough, while working on a description of the house, to be able to ask you what you think is important and should be included.
A good realtor is a cheerleader about its best points, and about your preparation efforts before its sale, making you want even more to leave it at its best. The end result, in Angie’s and our case: several offers from admiring potential buyers in a short amount of time.
Angie was also clearly a person very good at dealing with all the other people who are working with your preparing your house for sale: her adeptness dealing with these important other people, when you are at your weariest and feeling some pangs of sadness about leaving your house—was just what we needed.
A good real estate agent also will help you deal with an awkward crisis or two, with cheerful aplomb and not a bit of irritation. Angie did this, and reassured us too. A doctor in the house!
Thank you so much, Angie, for all you’ve done for us, and for our house, and for its new owners.

Read moreI've worked with Angie Nelden on two real estate transactions- a purchase and a sell. She will be my go-to realtor for life! Angie was recommended to me by a dear friend who worked with her on a real estate transaction. At the time, I had been looking for almost one year for a home in one of the highly sought-after neighborhoods in Sugarhouse. After working with Angie, we were under contract on our dream home in less than one month! Angie's knowledge of the area, her responsiveness, and her contacts/relationships are THE reason we got into the house. We also worked with Angie on the sale of a home in Sugarhouse at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, a crazy time for everything, including real estate! The sale took longer than is typical for the area, but we stayed the course and ended up with an offer at our full asking price. Angie and her team at Sotheby's provided informative data throughout the process which Angie used to translate into recommendations and action. In our case it meant staging an otherwise empty home; which I was reluctant to make the investment to do so. I trusted Angie's recommendation, staged the home, and we had a full price offer in our hands the same day! My best advice would be to... 1. Hire Angie and 2....
