I had the WORST experience during and after and have never been more bruised in my life. I went in and was extremely specific about my feet and legs NOT being touched at all and that I was looking for a deep tissue massage in my neck, shoulders, and back when I called. when I arrived and filled out the paperwork, and when the receptionist came to ask questions. I wrote on the form I DID NOT want my legs or feet touched. Guess what ... my legs were rubbed and then he rubbed my pectoral and throat muscles and spent NO time on my back or neck. The pressure on my legs and pectorals was So bad I asked him to stop and he said it hurts because they are not used to being rubbed. I woke up the next day and couldn't even get my hands above my head to remove my shirt because of the pain in my chest. Tow days later I was purple from throat to nipples and from bum to knee on my left leg. I was horrified and called to find out if it was normal and the secretary said it was normal. I called my Dr. to get ideas to ease the pain and reduce the bruising and he was EXTREMELY concerned with the situation and had me come in and his MA took many photos and encouraged me to NOT return to that person. I am afraid they did some serious damage as it has been 6 days and my right armpit is blue and green inside and I cant get my arm above my head still. It really sucks to go somewhere to fix pain and leave feeling violated and in more pain. If someone continues to say they DO NOT WANT a body part touched, you DON'T touch someone there and if someone says the pressure is too much, then the pressure it too much!! Read moreThe previous management was terrible, and the new manager, kasey, is not much better. I’ve been paying for a monthly membership for nearly a year, however have been unable to actually schedule a massage for the last 4 months. Currently when I log on to try and make a reservation, I’m unable to until AUGUST (it’s May 28th.)
I’ve attempted to call the store countless times, and nobody ever answers. Voicemails are not returned. Emails are not responded to. When I visited the store in person for answers and asked to cancel, I was told that I had to wait to speak to a manger and assured they would call me in 2 days, first thing in the morning.
That call didn’t come for over a week, and the new manager who did call, Kasey, was rude and dismissive, refusing to refund the unused credits for the last 4 months when I have been unable to make a reservation because they are understaffed, and have been calling for months for information and to cancel but not having anyone respond or allow me to cancel.
Now I’m trying to log into my account, and it’s telling me I can’t login because there’s a “problem” with my account (I assume they’re processing a cancelation, however they’ve made it very clear they won’t refund the unused credits, but the online system won’t even allow me to use those that I’ve already paid for) and tells me to call my store.
But here we are full circle, calling the store again, with nobody answering the damn phone.
What the hell is going on with this damn location? Mismanaged, rude employees, and scammy. DO NOT SIGN UP AT MASSAGE...
Read moreNot impressed at all with the customer service. Never had a massage before but my husband bought me a gift card (I'm pregnant and uncomfortable). I called multiple times to schedule my massage getting conflicting information each and every time. (ie. you can't have this massage b/c you're pregnant, you can but we have to use some different scrub, you can and it doesn't matter) Finally, got it scheduled, arrived to fill out paperwork and had not been informed that I needed a doctor's note. Left upset, got a phone call from manager later that day, which did NOT improve my feelings for the place. She essentially blamed me for not knowing I needed a doctor's note. She said multiple things she didn't follow through on, including having the owner call me and then ultimately refused to refund my money saying that I could simply wait until I wasn't pregnant or go to a different location. This location is blocks from my house so I didn't want to go to a different location. I scheduled AGAIN and enjoyed the massage but nothing else about the experience. And then, to top it all off, the front desk girl was fake and insincere. When I tell you I won't be back and that I am not pleased with how you handled with situation, don't smile and say "oh great!" I was so appalled by this entire experience I could NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Total disaster. Don't waste your time or money here; I am sure there are better places to get a massage.
