Evie is an absolute treasure! I used to wax alongside her years ago but I have since left the industry and when I saw she opened her own place up I immediately knew that Bare Roots was going to be my new go to. She is so mindful with everything she does and is so skilled at the craft. She puts thought and intention into everything from the products she uses (which are amazing BTW I'm so deep rooted and it just sucks but whatever magic she does makes me not even wince) to her techniques and her relationships with her clients. Scheduled a spontaneous Brazilian appointment while traveling, and usually I'm very hesitant to book waxes with new people, but thankfully, this was a super comfortable, smooth and easy process. A great experience overall with intentional service. Bought one of their Lavender Aloe Salves on the way out as well, which I've tried to make last for as long as possible, since I don't live in town.
