In my personal experience, CREATE. The Collective stylist Donzie Belden is a skilled but a shockingly unprofessional businesswoman. I have felt torn about writing this review for a while, but ultimately I want to warn anyone considering working with Donzie as it seems her behavior hasn’t changed in the time we worked together.

Two years ago, Donzie abruptly ended our seven-year client relationship over our first-ever misunderstanding about rates. I was shocked and upset, but moved on with life. Since then, I’ve repeatedly learned she has continued to gossip and spread negative and false statements about me, damaging personal and professional relationships in the process. In addition, other people I referred to her over the years also shared my concerns about her unprofessional conduct and inconsistent business practices: raising rates at the time of checkout without any prior conversation, gossiping about other clients, and being late to appointments without apology, to name a few issues. 10/10 recommend! I’ve been seeing Brittany O. for 8 years, and can honestly say she is MAGIC with color, cuts, bangs, and long term hair care. She’s taken me from red to brown to blonde to blue to black - with short hair and long hair and everything in between. She knows what it takes to keep your hair healthy, and will educate you about how to get the most out of each appointment. The salon itself is bright, clean and has an amazing energy! Really nice and helpful staff. Plenty of parking and is easily accessible no matter where you are coming from. Can’t say enough good things...

Tamara is the most professional and friendly hairstylist ever. She is so knowledgeable and puts the integrity of your hair first! She SAVED my hair and I’m forever thankful for her! I came to her with my hair falling out after another stylist fried it off and she saved it. I’ve been with her for a year now and my hair has never felt/looked better! If you’re looking for someone who knows their stuff and will give you your dream hair, go see Tamara! Also, the space is so clean and beautiful! I love the experience...
