John, the jeweler and owner here, is amazingly talented. I was told to go here when I was searching for a cross to give to my goddaughter at her baptism. Not knowing what to expect, I went here and was astounded, because John makes everything here himself. He also designs his own jewelry. Now, I don’t know if I should say this, but I thought his prices weren’t high enough. Especially considering the quality, the real materials, and the hand-craftsmanship, I think he could charge more. So, if you go, please consider giving him a little extra as a tip. We want this man to stay in business, folks. He is a San Angelo treasure. I went there to have my battery seated and the back closed back up, since I had accidentally dropped it which caused the back to come off. I met the owner I'm guessing. an older gentleman. Whom I'm guessing might have been having a good day or something, it was a saturday, I day that because he didn't seem to be very friendly ? Interested ? even maybe sad. He helped me with my problem with no issues. and it didn't take very long. But as i said first impressions is all it takes . My problem is that two different places that I had visited for the same problem, highly recommended him, as they couldn't fix it. So I don't know. The gentleman was kind and easy to work with. I purchased a necklace through Kay’s and it broke after only having it for a few months. I took it back to Kay’s originally to get it repaired and they wanted to charge me a ridiculous price just to have it soldered. I went to The Jewler’s Workshop after a friend recommended it and he repaired my necklace at a very reasonable price! It was actually much cheaper than I expected. He even cleaned my necklace free of charge which I did not expect! I’ll definitely be returning for any jewelry repair needs in the future....
